          • +1

@Bargainlife: I got a free 4 pack of tonic water approx 2 months ago, and another 3 packs at the marked price.

                @Bargainlife:

                last time it happened

Trick is to pay for it first, then go to the service counter

                • @heal: Ah Thanks for that, i remember before if you said it was wrong at the self service and it was they would put it through on $0.00 but now they change it to the correct price

maybe you're right you have to pay then go to front desk

cheers i'll try it next time it happens, doesn't happen often but i get a run of it from time to time

          • +1

@Bargainlife: I got a free Christmas ham from it in December

  • but are they seedless

    • No seeds, only pits on these ones.

    • +10

Someone in Australia actually created a seedless lychee, it took him 20 years.

  • Price error?

  • $15.90 today at coles wentworthpoint :(

    • Damn! Was going to check out the same Coles. You saved me a trip, thanks. How did OP know about cheap lychees and where? I tried searching on Coles website and catalogue but no lychees mentioned…

    They didn’t hear this price!

  • +1

    $15.90 at Waterloo, NSW - they think it's a pricing error. :(

when it says loose does it mean the product is loose like soggy or something?

    • Loose as in it's not pre-packed

      • so its post packed?

    • +7

Loose as in sleeps with a lot of other lychees.

Or their hairy armpitted cousins the rambutans.

expired. party is over weel done to those who ordered

Price is $15.90 at World Square Coles, Sydney. They suggested that it might be online only special, and I simply thanked the person at the counter and went my merry way.

    • Yup. Went to Rhodes Coles got the same reason as well. Saying most likely Online specials

      • After an awkward (lack of better word), argument, I managed to get them for $5.90

  • +1

I wish they were this price, I would buy 10 kilos and freeze. Love lychees but hate the price of them.

  • May be a lychee's on tin .lol

  • Online only.

  • tempted to order online for the price, but worried they give me the bad ones

  • +1

Must be a price error, cant even buy it at this price from grower. (Assuming its good lychee not pale variety or clearing old and mouldy stock)
Perhaps someone forgot to put 1 in front of that price.

  • +1

spent minutes to setup an account trying to buy 10kilos but then

    • Haha exactly same situation 😂

  • +1

Did anyone manage to get the deal

  • +5

Why is this deal even live still?

  • +3

I hung around in Coles Asquith waiting for the store manager to confirm whether he could match this price. Took him about half an hour and then he charged me only $3.10 for a bagful of lychees! When i looked at the bill i realised he probably wanted to get rid of me and he scanned it in as potatoes!

Essentially, the coles employee price beat this by scanning in 900 grams of Lychee as potatoes to give it for $3.10 .

Worked for me in store after asking the staff to price match at Ryde NSW
Think I will overdose on lychees now. Thank you OP

2020: Can you price match Lychee

  • Tried a few locations, no luck
-Select location first then look for lychee

    NSW Eastgarden has it ^^

    But

The minimum order amount for collection at a Coles Supermarket is $50. The minimum order amount for collection at a Coles Express is $80, plus a $3 collection fee.
