  Still haven't played the first one, but really want to! I'm waiting for Ozbargain to tell me it's like $10 or something. :P

  Does this series have any similarities to Bioshock? I didn't find Bioshock scary, but really enjoyed it.

    make sure you play bioshock and dead space on hard or hardest difficulty also having very loud surround sound helps a lot. it is a 'dark' game like bioshock, much more horror than resident evil
    rent the first one if you dont buy it

        its way too easy and a lot scarier on harder difficulty
        i mean whats the point of playing a horror game on normal/easy
        its a real horror when your bleeding out with hardly no ammo and freaks
        attacking you from everywhere with loud surround sound
