I just got 2 Medion 500GB USB3 (USB2 backward compatible) pocket HDD at Lakemba NSW Aldi for $49.95ea.. its a reduce item was $79.. i think its since january special buy.. for $50 a backup drive with usb3 is very good price for me.. there is 2 in the 2 glass display box.. but when i ask the sale people they got 2 for me from inside the bak dock/storage.. so there might be more there…

    yeh they still had the 2 in the glass shelves when i left… and maybe more in storage.. cos they got me 2 from storage not the shelves..

    Yes, you will be able to open the case and remove drive (relatively easily). The drive which is inside is a 5400RPM Seagate 2.5" 9.5mm high Seagate drive.
