I’m only part way through Series 1 but am loving it! Really impressed with the storytelling, the access afforded to Netflix (at least by those teams who participated) and the fact even devout F1 fanatics can learn new things about teams, drivers and personnel.
Can’t wait for S2 to launch! Think I’ll need to rewatch S1 in the meantime….

Its the last sales before the new season start and yes new gear is released. Which will be at full price. The merchandise will have the same main brand name on it. Except for the teams totally changing their team name.

There's also up to 70% off Toro Rosso merchandise as they're changing their name to Alpha Tauri next season. But again, shipping of 30 Euros kills it.
The only way the shipping is palatable is to buy 3 or more items. So kit up your whole family.

Bought a full set for the family in June (before Austrian GP) and the local distributor is in Melbourne (cost $A62 per T Shirt)

Just checked the kids shirt from official outlet at GP last year. Made in Morrocco. Not made in France, but not made in China either.
I have a Renault F1 polo, it's Le Coq Sportif also made in Morocco. Good quality though
Yeah so looks like most of the clothing made in Morocco. Cap also made in Morocco. Not to say that made in China is bad. Its all about quality control. Gee everything these days is made in China. Surprised the Moroccan's could do a better manufacture deal than China outlets.
@Melb69: Could be to slow-down knock-offs. I have a friend deep into Chinese-produced "exclusive" fashion. Visits China almost monthly. He generally shrugs, and says he can only keep in front for a short bit.
@Ulysses31: Ones at GP were from Morocco. The one from Renault should be same as official is all I'm saying. Won't know for sure where these are made from till I get it.

free shipping if you go $100US I think. At the end of the day as the OP said. The F1 merch never cheap. I was at GP last year and wasn't going to get anything an just bit the bullet to get a souvenir. It is what it is and with these sales its at least a bit cheaper. Usually though last years designs.
I recommend staying away from this deal. You might randomly break down and suddenly stop moving. 🏎️

It's a shame the Renault F1 yellow is so piercingly ugly, the Red Bull gear was much more aesthetic IMO
the 'team' kit rather than the driver specific stuff has grey/white/black options, i quite like the grey actually
Been quite a few years since I've been to the GP in Melbourne. I bought team shirts and sweaters over the pit wall for cash after the race and after most of the crowd had left. Being The first race of the year, the mechanics were selling off the previous year's kit. No guarantees but you might be able to haggle a bargain.
Going to the GP this year, might just try that out. Whereabouts do they sell them? Pit lane?
Directly over the pit wall. I couldn't afford access to pit lane. I waited by the wall on the track side until the mechanics emerged with boxes of old clothes to sell. Helps if you speak French or Italian too but not necessary! ;) Can't promise anything but good luck scoring a bargain.

Good if you show your allegiance towards the F1 maker but if you're only supporting the Team for the driver e.g. Ricciardo, then in this case the merchandise is only good for 1 year as Ricciardo is rumoured to be moving to either Mercedes or Ferrari next year 2021. Hamilton is also a likely contender for Ferrari in 2021. What an awesome team that would make if both were in the Ferrari Team!!!…..WoW!!!

For team Merch I usually buy off dhgate for a fraction of the price you pay at the GP, Ferrari polo $30 inc delivery, seeing as though I only wear it a couple times a year and then it’s outdated anyway.
