    Great question. We can put your foreign cash order inside the Red Pocket so it's ready to give. Or, we can put the foreign cash order in one of WeXchange's envelope and give you the empty Red Pocket separately, so you can divide the money into the Red Pocket/s later.

        Orders take 3 business days to process before you can pick-up in-store. On page two of the ordering process here: https://buy.wexchange.com.au/currencyorder/currencies/wex , you can see the calendar and the next available pick-up day.

        If you live or work in Melbourne CBD (postcode 3000) and would like to take advantage of the Home/Workplace delivery, then it can be delivered on the next Tuesday or Thursday following the 3 business days. WeXchange's delivery provider will deliver it in person and verify the person collecting it.

    Exactly. The title originally said "SPECIAL DISCOUNT" with no mention of 1%, but that was too much marketing speak, so I edited it to be more factual.

    EDIT: Note that there is also an alternative long running current deal for, at most, a 1% discount! (Requires a minimum $500 transaction.)

      Thanks for updating and making the listing clearer. In the foreign cash exchange world, I agree that at first 1% doesn't sound like a lot. However, because it is exchanging money for money, the discount is greater than most people first think. So we prefer to use the examples to better show the discount value.

      Although in terms of the current deal, it's actually a bit different. The previous deal offers the same level of discount when you spend $500 and $1000, and provides $5 and $10 off respectively. This CNY2020 coupon will work with ANY amount and provide the 1% discount on that value. So if you spend an amount other than $500 or $1000, the CNY2020 deal will allow you to get the most discount.

          @robinCTS: Thats right, because $50 is the minimum amount necessary to place an online order.
          However in-store the discount is applicable at any amount below $50, provided we have the foreign note equivalent :)

    Hi Nuno,

    The promotion code CNY2020 will definitely end on the 10 February 2020. It is part of a promotion surrounding Chinese New Year which is on the 25th of January, and it's just staying on a for bit longer afterwards so that people can still take advantage of it when they get back from their travels for the holiday.

    However our existing promotion at https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/470900 will still be available after this promotion ends.
