C'mon OP you have posted 34 deals. Read up on deal title guidelines and don't rely on mods always correcting them

or the devs could add fields for each section that's required (such as price, store) and validate on submit. Not sure why that hasn't been implemented yet.

      • They’re waiting for you to do the legwork.

This makes your face red. And you deserve 3x negative

At the time I put the deal out Harvey Norman had the best deal, than JB HiFi, Sony and Good guys followed. I checked Myer is also selling $1950.

    • good call. sony site says $1973 and when i tried a test 'add to cart' it shows delivery as N/A so that means free i'm guessing…

I started researching new tellies few weeks back and I really like this model - truly tough comparing against Samsung, LG and Hisense but this guy seems to have best PQ (without going to OLED). It looks so good in the shop. Thing is I am deliberating on 65 and 75. The 75 is $4K! Twice the price of the 65 so it seems like madness to bump up that much extra. Or drop to a lower spec 75 for maybe $2.5K. Like someone said the price of the 75 staying put no specials. Maybe have to wait for the H model before further discounts. I have made a big paper cutout with the screen sizes in marker pen (52 - current TV, 65, 75) - while the 75 seems huge, the 65 does seem sensible, still trying to weigh up preferred screen size!!

    • (52 - current TV, 65, 75) - while the 75 seems huge, the 65 does seem sensible

      If current 52" should consider 75", I have 46" and 60" also thinking 75"

Go the 65. It's only ten less pixels than the 75.

What would this be like in comparison to the Hisense R8?

    • I looked at an R8 expecting to buy it as it was priced so well, but in the end the colours/PQ looked to have a whitish overtone? Might have been settings who knows, but that and the fact they have a proprietary UI (VIDAA) as opposed to Sony's Android TV (open standard) pushed me away from Hisense. The Sony colour and depth seems superior IMO.

  • $1970 now

  • Anywhere to get HN discounted egift cards, (not gumtree)
Nothing on the Suncorp rewards app.

  • Hi guys - bought in at $1935 including delivery - I rang TGG and bought it over the phone - they offered to match their own eBay click and collect price and threw in delivery. Job done. Too bad about the 75" - in the end being a clear twice the price threw me off plus completely outvoted at home with the cardboard cut out ("It will overwhelm the room") - anyway job done - thanks again OP - feel like I am going to get a quality box - and who knows couple of years down the track all things change again and it might be an excuse at that time for the 75. Happy shopping for anyone else - it is a tough gig out there!
