Here is a bit of trivia for you. Kirks lemonade has more fizz than Schweppes lemonade. I know this as I'm a magician and I perform a fizzy roulette routine in my shows where one can is shook up and then my audience helper and I take turns opening the cans one at time against each others face. With kirks, even the unshaken cans will splash just a tiny bit when you open them. So I use schweppes, but this is a great price none the less.

    • So you are saying that it is one of the fizziest soft drinks on the market !

      • The most I have seen.

    • Opening cans in each others face :(

      • It's "The most dangerous trick I perform for a children audience". It's like Russian roulette but with 1 shook can and 4 un-shook cans, all shuffled out of position 3 times, so I (the magician), the volunteer and the audience don't know which is the fizzy can . The volunteer picks every can to be opened by themselves or the magician, so the magician has no choice, yet every time, the volunteer picks it right with no influence by the magician. Each can is given out for inspection and consumption after opening to show it's real (because it is just a regular can). The last can is opened over a rubbish bin and whammo, it was the fizzy can! I do something similar with multiple staple guns being fired into me by the audience helper for big people shows, but don't for the little ones as they might see a staple gun at home try to replicate. I did that routine for years but wanted to have the 'danger' element for kids show that was safe and that is the fizzy can routine.

Better off paying the $5ea price if you haven't you haven't taken advantage of the following deals yet.

  • Cheaper at Coles if you don't mind 1.25L bottles $1 each.

Isn't that the usual for any bottled drink?

      • 85 cents in Victoria at the moment which is half price.

        • Mine's the price in Townsville QLD.

          • @lukethefish: Yep I know, but at least you can get 10 cents back for the 15 extra cents you pay :D

    • the 1.25L kirks bottles were actually down to about 80cents recently at woolies.

  • lemonade you don't have to buy 2 packs - 3 dollars for 10 cans not bad after cashback

  • The regular price for these at Woolies is $5. Note that Woolies also has a range of other ten packs on sale for half price at the moment, so $5.52 for 10 cans of Schweppes Lemonade or Raspberry, Mountain Dew, Solo, and the Pepsi range.

    • Maybe in your Woolworths or state but here NSW is $6.20 so $4.50 is still around 27.5% less than Woolworths.

  • The pasito and creaming soda varieties use natural colour 120 (carmine/cochineal/carminic acid), which is made from scale insects and their eggs.

  • When the cans all explode during transit by Aus Post lmao

I ordered 40 cans of Vanilla Coke and it arrived yesterday, wet, ant-ridden and AusPost had attempted to repackage it because the cardboard was falling to bits.

Took all 40 cans out of their soggy packaging, to find it was only one single can that popped. Washed the rest in a bucket, good as new.

Emailed Amazon at 1:29AM this morning and honestly just told them that one can out of the whole lot exploded, but the rest were sticky. I got an email back in 3 minutes (in the middle of the night, love how they have global customer support) from a CSR called Mohammad apologising, and saying my full credit card refund has been processed and I should expect to see it in the next few business days, and I can do what I want with the product.

Didn't even need to send photo evidence (which I did take).

      Great support.
