      You do know that baby yoda isn't actually baby yoda right? Hes just called that because hes the third we've seen of yodas species and he more resembles yoda then yaddle. The story actually takes place 5 years after the return of the jedi so yoda has been dead for a while. We don't actually know the origin of "baby yoda" or as they're refered to in the show "the child".
