        • :) earlier me too. When I clicked it and it showed me those terms. I Was like WTF. But then read the deal again. But did not read the terms. IT said viewers of channel 9, so I was thinking, if there is some good terms to follow.

My house number has an alphabet and it doesn't let me enter it!

    • Have you tried putting the letter in the unit number? Sometimes that works

      • I didn't try that but I put the whole number with alphabet in the unit number and it didn't work. So I just left the alphabet altogether and trust my neighbour :)

Same deal here, so I put a zero in the 'Street Number' field and both the street number AND street name under the 'Street Name' field. Seemed to work fine.

  • is it one per household?

    • Yes, Looks like, they have a check on address. So in a Street No, if there are several Units, Only one will be able to get the card.

      • they checked unit number as well, read below tips

  • Got one*, I wonder how long till they're exhausted. I reckon they'll be gone at 5:30pm today.

    *or two!

Ends at luch time doesnt it?

      • We have a winner! I'll read TCs more carefully.

  • Thanks :)

  • Damn, I was hoping it'd be one of those eftpos cards like with the CC deal lol.
But it's their normal gift card with conditions here http://www.homehardware.com.au/home/inner.asp?pageID=439&mai…

    One particular condition stands out:
Cannot be used on a sale under $10.

so you can't get anything for free unless it adds up to $10 exactly lol. Better than nothing I guess.

    • I reckon it could be a eftpos card like the CC deal.
the CC deal had the same/similar conditions.

    • Surely you could buy a washer or something to get 9.95 up to $10.

    • Yeah i mean the canadian club deal a while back. It's a prepaid visa card that you can use anywhere (even though it says a certain place)

      • Never worked for me, ended up getting a few and all bottle shops I went to had none in the bottles they all had cans and wouldnt do it.

  • Site seems to be struggling now. Shutting down on me when i try to submit.

Sent one to all my friends and fam :P

    • do u make up the phone number?

      • It's not a required field.

  • thanks

  • +1

great deal….try home and work address for 2 cards…….cheers

  • Not bad at all, though I can't think of anything to buy atm.

  • got one.

i am just wondering if there are any limits of human's stupidity ?
Try to enter Street Number as 55B and it will say numbers permitted only.

    • Same, and I live in a unit number with a letter in it (e.g. "S123"), where the letter matters - e.g. there is a "N123" too. Lesson for people doing address validation: Street numbers CAN have letters, AND unit numbers CAN have letters, and those are the ONLY valid canonical addresses.

  • Unfortunately this promotion has now ended.

    • I got the same message.

      How unfortunate.

  • I do not know where to register

      Too slow mate. Its over

  • gonna spend mine on a rubber mallet :)

  • what costs <$10 in that store?

    • Cannot be used on a sale under $10.

      • reallyyyyyy, thanks

  • I'm gonna buy a "proper" gift card with mine…then I can wait an extra 9 months to spend my $10!

    http://www.homehardware.com.au/About-Us/Gift-Cards

  • buy potting mix, thats what I am planning ;0

  • My card just came to my work address. Seems to be a gift card more than an Eftpos card. 3 months expiry.

    Here comes my new broom!!!!

    • Dunno.. it does have the strip though. Anyone tested it? Otherwise I'll give it a teston the good ole myki machine :) not keeping my hopes up though.

  • My card just arrived at my work address too, except I got two, system glitch?

  • +2

Two arrived here today (mine and my girlfriend's). Checked the Home Hardware website and was disappointed to see that the closest store was 40km away (nothing in the Eastern suburbs of Sydney or the Sydney CBD), but then noticed that the card says it is also valid at Thrifty Link and Plants Plus, both of which have stores relatively close to me. Score! :)

    • Well spotted!

I had the same dilema…and still do…Thrifty Link and Plants Plus are no where near me either : (

  • thanks jump22 that helps me considerably :)

  • +2

They didn't waste any time in getting them sent out. And neither did it take long for them to start appearing on eBay.
