  • shampoo for cats..

  • While cats groom themselves there are occasions where they may need a bath. Especially if they have a sticky or greasy coat. It is a good idea for cat owners to have some cat shampoo ready for those moments when your cat makes an appearance and is way dirtier than usual. • +1

Downvote because Choice says Pet Insurance is the biggest rort in the industry and needs government regulation/equiry

  • One of the new players in the pet insurance market & one of the few independents (almost all others are underwritten by Hollard).
They seem competitive by won't start insurance on a pet over 7 years old no matter how trouble free they have been (not even precluding pre-existing conditions).

  • Hi Gaz1. Thank you for pointing out that we are not part of the bunch underwritten by Hollard. We also did not form part of the CHOICE review that called out the category.
The maximum entry age is to protect against policies being written that would result in poor customer experience due to the likelihood of a high number of pre-existing condition exclusions. There is no maximum renewal age and we will not deny renewal based on your pet's age if it joined Knose Pet Insurance before the cut-off.

    • Fair enough. Mind you I think the Pet Insurance industry (or Consumer Affairs) needs to do the same thing as human health insurance where pre-existing conditions are still covered providing you are moving from another company.
With the current pre-existing exclusion you are stuck with the same company forever if your pet has a previous condition.

      • Gaz1. That is true and is a good reason to do proper research before buying in the first place.
And you are right that legislation or an industry association is the only way to solve that kind issue. If it is not mandatory to accept switchers (with their previously covered conditions) it places at significant disadvantages the insurers (and their clients) that allow switching-in and a significant advantage to those who do not. We would love to solve this problem but unfortunately, it is not something we can tackle on our own.

  • Hi Rep,
Been looking at signing up, just had a few quick questions, and it looks like the only chat function on your site is broken?

Does this policy cover hereditary conditions?
Is there an option to add dental?

    • Hi Ben. Please reach out to us at [email protected] and we can answer your questions.
Thanks for letting me know about the chat function not working. We will investigate it.

      • Hi, Chat is working again this morning. Spoke to Lisa, very helpful :)
