  • Delivery cost is not fixed - showing $24.95 for delivery to me (Mid-North Coast NSW).
Might want to change the title to Price + Delivery.

    • Fixed

      • Original price too… $99

    • Hey neighbour , MNC is looking alot nicer after the rain.

  • $19.95 for me but still, no local stock so delivery kills the deal.

$79.95 for me, so delivery slaughters the deal.

  • This might be the catch. These panels might be lost somewhere so they wanna cleanup the stock and the only and cheaper way is the customer to pay for the delivery rather than they doing the normal logistic thing to send them to the stores.

    $14.95 for NSW 2020 or 2000

$14.95 for delivery to sydney suburbs. thanks OP

80w isn’t going to charge any battery’s anytime soon it’s about 2amh which isn’t much maybe for light work I suppose but nothing else

Eh? 80W @ 12V (the regulator output) is around 6A.

      • You will be struggling to get 6amps out of a 80w panel on a clear day they will possibly hit 6amps but you should expect to get 2-4amps on any given day and worse in overcast.

      • Barely literate with typical solar setups, but isn't the 80w figure based on the panels typical output (usually 18v)? If that's the case and it's a PWM charge controller, you're looking at closer to 4A.

      Simply not true

      • Feel free to expand. What type and size of battery, usage etc? If it's intended use is to charge an auxiliary (camping) battery then most will recommend at least double this wattage.

  • I worked at a Solar Panel shop (solar related stuff)from 1998 to 2001 and we charged about $10 per watt for solar panels.
So an 80 watt panel would cost $800. But this is a folding panel and this cost up to $12 per watt, so we would have charged almost $1,000 for this kit 20 years ago😱😱😭😭!!
I remember experts saying that panels would one day drop to $1 per watt, I didn't believe it. And I was right they've dropped to 61 cents a watt🤑🤑!!
