Lot of free subscriptions available with library memberships.

Zinio is probably offered through your local library or through free membership to your State Library. Check there first to see if your magazines are listed. You can probably also get Kanopy for streaming movies and tv shows and maybe Lynda for online learning.

      • I've not encountered free Zinio app access through Brisbane City Council Library.

        Love to know if true.

I thought 1 years unlimited magazine access for $29.99 was a bargain personally.

Use RBDigital app for magazines, here is the page for Brisbane City Council Library.

          https://library-brisbane.ent.sirsidynix.net.au/client/en_AU/…

You also have magazines access through Press Reader.

Gold Coast have the Zinio magazines so it would be surprising if Brisbane didn’t.

@Pobman: Isn’t it RBDigital now, hasn’t been Zinio for a while.
Also Flipster via the library has a few other mags that RBDigital doesn’t have.

  • Do you get access to every magazine on their website? And how do you access it? Through their app or can you then download all of the magazine apps?

    Seems like a good deal.

I purchased this a few months back through Groupon and for $30 I am happy with it.

One thing that I will point out is when searching through some magazines listed on the site they have not been updated for a long time but these were mainly overseas and not Aussie publications.

Never having heard of the service before I had a browse and bought it (mainly for the tech stuff).

Without realising it also comes with Family Sharing - share your subscription with four family members. I sent my aunt a link who'll definitely make use of the Women's Days, New Idea, Women's Weekly etc.

The iPad and Android app is pretty straight forward too.

  • For the price it was worth a go. Impressive range. Just using the browser interface so far.

  • If you use a VPN to connect to Indian servers, this subscription is available for slightly cheaper at 999 INR (~21 AUD).

I connected via VPN and searched for Magzter Gold India.
