Got this code from a survey they sent me. Sharing as it appears to be generic. Worked for me as an existing user but YMMV. If you are a new user make sure to use a referral code below to get an extra 3 free unlocks.

To redeem the code, open the Lime app, select ‘Wallet’ and then ‘Add a Promo Code’, and enter and apply code. The code is valid for 1 free unlock on each of your next 3 rides.

You must apply the code to your account before 29 February, 2020 at 11:59 PST. Discount is valid from when you apply the code to your account until it expires on 31 March, 2020 at 11:59 PST.

Code valid in Australia only.

Quantities are limited and applied on a first-come-first-served basis. Limit one redemption per person.

  How much does it cost now days? It used to be $1 to unlock and 30 cents a minute at launch.

    It's up to 38c per min. Honestly works out to be a rip off considering you could easily spend a third or half of your time waiting at lights. They should charge per km.

      Sounds similar to Sydney lime bikes…. You can drop $4 just to move a couple of city blocks that you could Of walked in a few minutes more.

  Are these legal, I was told that these can't be used on the road and you could get a fine?

    You shouldn’t be on the road with these.

    In SA you must wear a helmet, so most scooters have them to use, although you share it with everyone else who wore it

  These scooter rides cost quite a lot - a $10 min ride cost me around $5.
  $1 off is not a significant discount

  Lime you gotta try harder to win over the ozbargain community

  Used these and other brands while in Europe and was extremely impressed. I spent less than $100 and was using them every chance I had for a month. Had so much fun and saved me so much time. Would recommend.

    It makes it $x - $1 = $y where x is the full price amount and y is the amount after the discount is applied.
