Theyre just going to be 316 stainless, same material as most other cutlery.

Harris Scarfe closing sales have some decent discounts on cutlery sets.
Not really. The prices were cheaper prior to Boxing Day sales for sets I was looking at and discounted prices have not reduced since their announcement of closures. I know because I put a lot of energy to buy sets for multiple people in last few months.
Their 50% off "sales" is the normal price. Also compare prices on Amazon as even recently looked at sets appear to be cheaper in some instances
Hard to believe the RRP for this 16-piece set is $199 when David Jones was selling (now out of stock) the 56-piece set for $199.
This eBay store sells the 16-piece set for $75.

Yeah, you mean a Splayd.
Splayd combines spoon, fork and knife. They have sharper sides for cutting food.
Spork is a combination spoon and fork with dull edges.
Don't really see Splayds these days.
i love my kathmandu titanium spork, but i would say its style is more geeky than fancy.

Already received mine but the teaspoons are huge. The whole set is quite large, but the teaspoons must be about 1.5 times the size of average. Sending mine back.
