            @dust: From experience with the Ravpower version of the Sony NP-FW50 batteries, they last about 1/3 as long as the original Sony batteries.

    How do these compare to the original nikon battery? I have bought an aftermarket Nikon Camera EN-EL15 EN EL15A Battery before and it didnt hold its charge and was good for about 1/4 of the original.

      As mentioned above, they come with a total 2.5 years warranty so if there is an issue SunValley's relentlessly cheerful customer support staff will sort it out for you.

      Based off a comment from an American customer:

      "I was worried that there would be no work around for the new 2.00 firmware that pretty much disables the battery indicator with 3rd party batteries. Well, Ravpower seems to have figured out a way around and displays the battery percentage perfectly. The batteries have the same weight as the OEM battery, and though I haven't gone through an entire battery charge yet, they seem to discharge at about the same rate as the OEM Sony battery."

    To ozbargainers, based off feedback from the Amazon American site, the brand looks legitimate:

    The difference is the American site is fulfilled by the official brand, whereas the Australian supplier is Sunvalley-Brands. Based off seller feedback they seem pretty good:

    The general rule of thumb is third party batteries tend to have a shorter life cycle than oem batteries. They tend to also reduce overall usage over time due to cheaper material degradation.
    But paying $52 for two batteries plus a charger versus one official battery for ~$100 (on ebay 20% off sometimes from nofrillssydney), I'm quite happy with that trade off.

      From my experience with the Ravpower version of the Sony NP-FW50 batteries, they last about 1/3 as long as the original Sony batteries. Fingers crossed the lp-e6 last longer for you.
