I have this monitor. This monitor is fantastic value with fast refresh rate.
I have it too.
It works fine with g-sync, just be sure to change monitor to 144hz in the advanced display settings for full experience, I didn’t and even though Nvidia app was showing 120-140 FPS the display wasn’t actually doing it and it turned out to be something so simple.
You can also download a g app that lets you change monitor settings via your desktop
Did anyone buy this last time when the AOC monitor promotion was going on but didn't receive the eCoupon?
Okay, potentially silly question:
Is this a prior model of the 24G2U or is it the same monitor with multiple model names based on country/location?Also still deciding whether to go for this or spend the extra $150 or so and get the ViewSonic VX2758-2KP-MHD. I feel like a QHD monitor is the right move in 2020, but any discussion/suggestions are welcome
The 24g2u has a few different features like built in speakers but is the same screen. I also do not think the 24g2u is available in Australia
Oooh okay thanks mate, glad to finally know the difference.
Gotta say the speakers would be a nice addition just incase my old 2.1s decide to to stop working.
Still though the difference is minimal, I'll keep deciding between the two monitors as I'm in no rush.
