Expensive per L compared to chemist I'm sorry.

Also, this was JUST posted earlier….

    • -2

We got taken offline earlier due to Title Guidelines. Once we have higher order volume, we can negotiate a better price so we can pass that on. Thanks for the feedback

      • +9

Ok, so remove your deal and post it when you get a better deal.

        • FYI we (generally) don't remove deals by reps as it resets deal posting limits. Once posted there are no take-backs.

        • OP has a bit of attitude problemo!

  • +1

Marketing to the paranoid? How hard is it to wash your hands with soap and water just a bit more often?

    • +2

No comment on the product here but……….cos when you're out and about soap and water may not be instantly available.

      • True. I'll just pull out all my PPE from my tandem trailer here. Can't be too careful. Clowns might get me.

    Aldi's hand sanitizers are just $3.99 (200ML).

    • +1

Exactly. A reqlistic price. And being Aldi the quality is probably very good for the price point.

Jumping on a bandwagon of fear to exploit the ignorant.

I got a litre of Aqium for 7.99 at Terry White yesterday.
I understand that smaller business can't produce the product as cheaply, but this is beyond ridiculous.

  • +1

Great for damaging your skin. Ridiculously expensive for something you can make yourself at home with about 3 ingredients.

    • +9

Yeah but I've already drunk all of one of those ingredients…

      • Lol

  • Oh the price, this cannot not be a normal hand sanitiser.

    • +2

I never thought about adding a single drop of Essential Oils to a hand sanitizer. Good idea to get a nice smell :)

Think I'll use Lavender, it's available at Kmart for a pittance, and the scent should calm any nerves, if you believe that stuff (one of the few essential oil claims that has at least SOME scientific backing).

  • Was reading about Zoono that is alcohol free - good if your skin is sensitive

    • -1

      alcohol free

      which would be useless.

Notice how it highlights it's advanced antibacterial sanitiser?

People are panic buying because of a virus, not bacteria.

Despite about the prices; the lab supplying this sanitiser are Australia based; and they made these products according to the World Health Organization recommendation, by adding in the essential oil differentiate the scent from other products.

It is highly recommended to check the ingredients of the sanitiser before your purchase. In short, alcohol free ones will not work effectively.

It is highly recommended to check the title of the website before your post. In short, bargain free deals will not work effectively.

    • +1

Well, the $3.99 ones at aldi are australian made as well, and contains 72% alcohol. So I'm not sure what's the point you're trying to make here.

  • Lol did you buy like 7 sets to get a supply price over $6?

    https://www.bunnings.com.au/diggers-500ml-isopropyl-alcohol-…

This is nearly .80 specific gravity isopropyl alcohol.
Given that if you add the few ingredients to match OP product its likely priced ok for what it is.

Probably won't be super kind to your hands with continual use however, but will kill any nasties that come in contact with it.

I think for myself I'd just be buying pure isopropyl alcohol and santizing surfaces etc with it, and use a regular hand santizer or anti bacterial soap that won't split or irritate the skin on my hands and give those nasties an easier entry point to infection.

    blatant profiteering on people's paranoia.
isn't more effective than other hand sanitisers, despite the scaremongering.

  • +1

Overpriced for hand sanitiser. Cheaper almost ANYWHERE else. Not a bargain, stop profiteering from people's paranoia

    https://www.priceline.com.au/isocol-rubbing-alcohol-75-ml

A similar product with same active ingredient is sold at $8 per 100ml (with 64% alcohol content) in most supermarket and chemist.
Our bundle set cost $6 per 100ml (($32÷530)x100) of product (75% alcohol, plus 100% pure essential oil and other ingredients based on WHO's recommendation). With 10% discount, it comes down to $5.40 per 100ml.
It is packed in a 30ml travel amber glass spray bottle and a 500ml refill bottle which can be repurposed once you finish it - less plastic for the plantet :)
We understand at this price point, this may not be in everyone's budget and we appreciate all the feedback.
When you take into consideration the extra cost of the glass packaging and the pure essential oil we use in the product, we are definitely not that profitable compare to other sanitiser sprays in similar category.
As the sales volume increases, we will have more bargaining power to look at better pricing.

Keep the feedbacks coming so we can improve our product.

    Cheers

We would like to use this opportunity to stand up for those hard working small business owners who are trying to promote their products from their heart. For those who make comments like deeply profit products etc; do you know what’s involved behind the scenes? All the hours they put in the product testing, designing of the packaging labels etc are some of the things you don’t see on the surface. Yes, this may not be the best bargain to you because you see Aldi is 1/10 of the price but this product is handcrafted and packed locally. You are not comparing apple to apple here! The point is, we don’t want to create an impression that we are supporting business owners making huge profit out from such unfortunate incident (COVID-19).

    • +2

Handcrafted? I certainly hope not. Load of profiteering boondogglers.

Yay! Got to use boondogglers on this site!
