  • Isn't that on the Vodafail network? No thanks!

    • If support 850 will solve the problem.

      • Its 900/2100 as per CJ's site.

The GSMArena's listing didn't clearly specify it but its 900/2100 for the European/Aust version and 850/1900 for the US version. (850/1900 is ATT)

In any case, if its 900/2100 you miss out on Vodafone's new 850 network, if its 850/1900, you miss out on the existing 2100 network.

    • Vodafone isn't that bad actually. A friend of mine has it with an iPhone and hasn't had one problem. It depends on the area you're using the phone in I reckon, cause I've heard some horror stories.

      • Middle of Brisbane I had no reception with voda. Can't wait for the contract to expire.

This is a pretty average deal. Personally I'd get myself a Huawei Sonic UNLOCKED for $188 at DSE here - http://dicksmith.com.au/product/E7421/huawei-sonic-android-v…

Similar specs to the OneTouch, 3.5" capacitive screen, 600MHz Qualcomm CPU.

After that i'd pay $7.99/month (not a plan, can stop whenever I want) and get $145 credit to everyone and a further $135 to liveconnected with 200MB of data - http://liveconnected.com.au/index.php/sim-only/pioneer

That's half price, and i'm not stuck on a plan, though the only downside is that there's not a 1gb of data. Pay $14.99/month and get $450 credit and 1.5gb of data - http://liveconnected.com.au/index.php/sim-only/pioneer

I think that gives me enough reason to neg this deal…

    • Agreed but not everyone willing to pay upfront $200 but $15 a month for low usage person I think is OK.

$15 a month isn't too bad for 1.2GB data either, and you're getting a free phone with it.
