Great product. Been watching for a while and the Ultimate version rarely goes on sale, let alone dropping $90!

  • They have the variety of razer joycons at a reasonable discount for those interested also

eg: Razer Raiju Ultimate Controller for $209 & Razer Wolverine Tournament Edition Gaming Controller for $115

with the new consoles coming out these 3rd party controllers are likely to drop hard. Good for PC gamers like me though.

    • Yeah grabbed one for PC gaming as well, where having to use with cord isn't a big deal at all.

Razer Raiju Ultimate Controller for $209

For that much I would get the Xbox Elite 2 Controller. It's been cheaper at $200.

      • I would pull the trigger on the Elite 2 @ $200.

        • The Elite 2 is having all sorts of QC issues, though, much like the first one. I finally quit my Elite 1 and got this controller, and despite it being from Razer, it's a lot better.

          • @mickeyjuiceman: The only issue I ever had with the Elite 1 were the rubber grips peeling off, the new one just uses a textured plastic doesn't it?

@smartazz104: My grips peeled off multiple times (and dealing with MS was a complete PITA every time), but a mate has the new one and it's already got stick drift, and people are reporting issues with it pretty regularly. If you can deal with the cable, this is vastly better value.

              • @mickeyjuiceman: You're tempting me now…

                • +1

@smartazz104: I was pretty against it because it's Razer and I'm not all that convinced by their quality, but it's been good so far (and Scuff are stupid expensive).

I bought one of these Razer controllers when they were on sale last year and it's been fantastic. A mate at work has now been through no less than 3 Elite controllers in the same timeframe, once for peeling grips and twice with stick drift. I've never had a problem with the Wolverine. The only potential downside of it vs. the Elite is it's strictly wired only, which in my case is a non-issue because my console is close enough to where I sit.

  • This is a good deal, and the best feeling controller in my hand for Xbox One X and also for Rocket league on the computer. I have not tried the Xbox Elite controller but Wolverine feels expensive and high quality.

  • which store did you see this in? anything in sydney?
