      Why? Plumbers are super expensive

      • Lol just in response to toilet paper deals. Seems a few people have taken it serious.

          great joke bro

  • Eh back to wall are way better

    • I know you are joking, but it's "front OF wall" not "front TO wall"

      Real men use leaves.

      • Real men use the garden hose on jet stream.

        • real men use high pressure cleaner

  • Could make a decent $246 practical joke…

Front of wall as in the front of the house wall?

  • Does that include a bidet? Because toilet paper is too scarce and expensive.

  • Great! I better buy 5 trolleys worth.

according to the website link the person who installs it done from some random person from hipages.
ad doesn't mentioned this ocst include delivery of said toilet.

  • What's the normal price for this?

  • +1

shouldn't all toilet be installed in front of wall?
Can't imagine if you put it behind wall.

I actually need a new toilet. Is this a good deal?

Confirmed with Bunnings that this is normally $279, and is in response to Aldi's deal:

  • Got a question. Can i select any front of wall toilet from bunnings website?

    Some does say no delivery.

Only unlicensed people would spend 3 hours installing a WC for $150? I shit you not, install quality will be a roll of the dice …. loaded dice at that.

    • Bunnings pays the installers more than that for the job. Normally around $275. Bunnings is just loosing money on this due to competition.

I just wouldn't recommend putting trust in these "installers". Hipages, Airtasker, etc - They're after money which means they're not checking licenses.
I've been called to fix many of these "installs" and I'm yet to find a client who can produce a copy of the "installers" license number.

        • I just booked mine, and the plumbers ABN and WA Plumbing Licensing Board number was displayed on the hipages booking, which I can search on the Plumbers Licensing Search site here:

          https://www.commerce.wa.gov.au/building-and-energy/plumbers-…

…which shows the plumbers Plumbing Contractor license, Gasfitting Permit, and High Risk Work Licence, including current license status and expiry etc.

          Looks good to me.

          • @kirt: Hope it goes smoothly, let us know about your experience.

@Ebany: Had the plumber out yesterday at the agreed time, and he got the new toilet installed without issue in about 2 hours, and he was careful to clean up afterwards and took the old toilet away etc.

Had both Bunnings and hipages send emails when the job was done, asking to confirm I was happy with the install and if there were any problems.

So yeah, happy with that, and would use the service again.

  • Op do you know when this offer ends with Bunnings?

    • +2

      Just called them.
Sale ends 10th March for anyone else.

  • Seems it already ended.
