    • +1

I think he typed so fast, 0 and 9 are very close on keyboard.

Yeah wanted to beat everyone to post this deal :)

69's are hard to get right…

  • Oops Sorry - it should be 69 as per title. Thanks for pointing out.

  • 'Down 13%/$10 from $79'….

    • +2

Noticed that too - Regular price on Amazon $79 v/s $89 at JB, @99 @ HN and $99.95 @ EB

      MVP this guy right here

  • For PC, is it better to get this or Xbox controller?

    • +5

This controller works fine for PC using Steam's configuration. But I found myself preferring my Xbox controller more as the reversed X/Y A/B placement seems to confuse some games (and myself) where the buttons are visually mapped to the Xbox controller.

      • That being said, you can just remap them. I prefer how hefty the switch Pro controller is vs the ps4/xbox controllers personally.

    • +2

I've used this on pc and I find Xbox is easier to set up and has better compatibility with games

    • +2

Pro controllers have digital triggers (on/off) as opposed to Xbox/ps4 pressure sensitive triggers. Something to definitely keep in mind for racing games.

  • +3

The original game cube controllers are the best.

  • Must be strong and wait for Costco’s pricing to come back for a surprise visit.

Thank you OP. I'd been waiting for a price drop to purchase a second one, completed just now. Great controller. Some people suggest the D-pad is not as good as it could be but I use the left stick more so not as important for me.

  • Nice controller.

  • Does this work on the WiiU?

    • Nope.

      • Thanks I had a little Google around, apparently it can, but only if the WiiU is modded.

Please check the reviews on amazon guys. Might be fake. People who bought are asking for refund.

    • +4

Check the review dates, those reviewers probably purchased from a 3rd party Amazon seller that was cheaper at the time. (Amazon also doesn't send packages from China)

Edit: Yup you can see the 3rd party price dipped to astonishingly low levels in Aug-Sept. https://au.camelcamelcamel.com/Nintendo-NINTENDO-SWITCH-PRO-…

If it seems too good to be true then it is!

  • God damn I was going to pull the plug and buy it…
Can other users confirm if the controllers are genuine or fakes? It was just the last two reviews were concerning

    • +1

Didn't bite and price went back up to $89

    • +2

Just make sure you are buying from Amazon rather than a marketplace seller. I hate the way Amazon lumps all sellers together.

  • Hi, just wondering, would the ASUS TV500BG Wireless Bluetooth Game Controller work with the Nintendo Switch? thanks

    • Natively, definitely no.
It might work with 8BitDo wireless adapter, but this device only officially works with Xbox One, DualShock 3 and 4, Wii remotes and Wii U pro controllers

  • is this really expired or stock still available?

    • Went back to $79
