  For what it's worth I paid a similar price in Japan for a 470ml Zojirushi. These have a nice 1 hand compatible design to unlock, open.

  Made in Thailand I believe (all the ones I've seen are).

    I actually find heat retention really good. I can make a coffee at home in mine at 8am, its still 'burn your tongue' hot until noon, and very hot at 3pm. Only gets to luke warm by around 7-8pm. obviously this is my experience, but it is significantly better than any other travel mug I have ever had.

  MUG? In retail manglish only. It's a bottle, thermos, a flask…..but definitely not a mug in this man's English.
