Purchased several laptops from the Dell Outlet, no issues
My experience has been the opposite. I have purchased at least 10 Dell refurbs for family and friends in the past 3-4 years, and they've been excellent for the most part. To my knowledge, every single one is still going strong. Two have had warranty issues.
On an Inspiron model, the charging circuit on the motherboard failed and they had a tech at my door within a couple of days, replaced the motherboard and handed it back to me - no charge.
On a Latitude model, the cooling fan malfunctioned after about 6 months and again, the tech was there within a day or two, replaced the fan in 15 minutes and handed it back.
My latest purchase was a G7 gaming machine that looked brand new but cost less than half the RRP. It gets used pretty intensively most days, travels a fair bit and has never missed a beat.
I'd happily recommend the Dell Factory Outlet to anyone. The prices excellent, the sales team is very friendly and helpful, and the warranty is rock solid.
latitude and precision in outlet come with 3 year next business day pro support. anything happens - they're there tomorrow fixing it.

they have been hovering on Dell Outlet since mid last year around that price, too.
Not much of a deal. The newer model with i7-9750h, RTX2060, 256gb ssd were going for 1800 new with 20% off ebay earlier this year.
Much better idea to get an Asus Scar III as they run much cooler and quieter.

Only 1 year warranty so I would stay away as dell refurbished laptops are not reliable. I own two latitude which are business grades and they both had issues within a year. If you need to buy a dell make sure it has at least 3 years warranty. Their warranty service is good but that if you don’t mind the hassle in the first place of having to use it which means backing up all your stuff and then having to reinstall.
