If this is the same one, which I saw today at Bankstown JB Hi Fi ( Atlast got the xbox 4gb kinect bundle). The box stated, it has IPS panel. But it was priced there for 299.
I was quite amazed to see the quality of the TV.
Others can have more light on it.
Been this price for ages, not particularly a great deal for a non-fullHD 32" tv.

This is a pretty average price, you can get the 720p DSE inhouse tv for around $250 afaik.

It's not that great a bargain for a 768P LCD anymore. Maybe a few months ago I would have got excited but the baseline has now been shifted down to <$250 for an equivalent generic TV of same spec.
