  • Better than the previous deal as you don't need to spend $99 for free postage https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/517698

Cloud Catcher is such a nice beer. Amazing price!

  • +1

Unbelievable, just picked up a 16 pack of Garden Ale delivered for $27.99!

  • +7

Bought a slab of Pacific ale. Can't wait to get it in the fridge. Cheers.

    The generic code is $20SHOUT

    • +1

Sadly if you used it last time and try to order with same details get "The $20SHOUT discount code has already been used". Damn, back to the CUB beers on eBay

      • Would using a new gmail or some such address work?

        • Adding "+something" before the @ used to work for kogan codes

    • +2

      How do you stack it?
Whenever I type in a second code, it just deletes the other one (the free shipping)

  • +1

    Stone & wood tho….

    No dark beers :(

    • +1

I know it is out of stock, but…

      https://shop.stoneandwood.com.au/products/stone-beer

      • Yeah I saw that one. But as I said, no dark beers :(

    • +1

They have dark beers such as Counter Culture French Toast Stout, Vintage Release Porter, SWX Stout, Barrel Aged Porter, , Pilot Batch Stout and probably more.

      • As I said, no dark beers (for sale) :(

  • +1

Cheers OP .Bought a slab of the Pacific Ale .Might also get Cloud Catcher too.

  • Something has changed with the Pacific Ale, just isn't as good as it used to be. Haven't tried the Cloud Catcher so will give that a go and hope for the best.

    • +3

Maybe, or maybe your tastes have changed? I know that I used to love Pacific Ale and these days it's just meh. But back then I used to drink James Squire and Fat Yak… These days I drink Range and Ballistic beers.

    • I was in Byron Bay last week and couldnt find Cloud Catcher on tap anywhere (all Pacific Ale). So after all the chat on Ozbargain I went to the Brewery and tried it. To be honest I wasn't a fan. Pleasant at first, but had a metallic after taste. I wondered if it was due to fermentation at such high temps (was 31 that day and the brewery is fully open). I ended up trying all their beers (except the Reinvigimate electrolyte beer) and my favourites were the Jasper Red Ale and the good ole Pacific Ale (guessing that's why it's on tap).

Interesting side note, Byron Bay Brewery have a few interesting beers outside the mainstream as well (summer ale, IPA etc).

Lastly, a couple of super cheap mainstream beers I suggest trying are Steam Rails 'Tight red togs' (Better version of Wild yak) and John Boston Pale Ale (mild/ dry hopped pale).

      • Your last two says your refer "crafted" beers. The real crafts are not you mug of beer.

      • I wondered if it was due to fermentation at such high temps (was 31 that day and the brewery is fully open).

You realise that most beer brewed in Byron cops lots of high temps?

        • Yeah, made my own brews for 20 odd years. Beers that I made in an unexpected hot spell gave the familiar end taste in the Cloud catcher. Not a bad beer by any means (balanced well, but there's a 'metallic' finish at the end). Could have been the batch I had, or possibly bottom of the keg etc. Don't know. But only one pub had it on tap there, so make of that what you will. So just recommending peops go grab one or a six pack first before going a full carton. If you haven't tried a stone and wood beer before, i'd go the Pacific Ale.

Cloud catcher. $49. Nice deal OP

    • It sure is a nice drop

  • Looks like I'm set for a potential coronavirus lockdown! Awesome deal with the $20 first time discount. Pacific Ale never really goes under $75 at the bottle shops so $50 including delivery is nuts.

  • +1

i love the green coast lager. better jump in! cheers :)

  • Thanks OP - Looks like I'll be catching some clouds soon. :p

  • Which one should I buy? Everyone is mentioning a different type!!!

eBay has alot of good deals too lately!

  • +4

self isolating with a slab of beer :)

  • -1

If you're cheap you could try 2 of those energize cans for $22 and get free shipping and 20 off. Cheap enough deal…

    • Doesn't work for me.

  • Couldn't catch Corona so I'll catch clouds instead.

  • +11

    Codes aren't stackable. $20shout & FREEDELIVERY. It's a pass from me.

    • +4

They've updated the site to require a code for free delivery (presumably to stop people stacking the $20 off with free delivery)

    • +1

yea they arent stacking for me either

    • +2

I can't stack either, not paying $15 for delivery, so a pass for me too.

  • I can't seem to stack free delivery and $20 join up discount. Any ideas?

  • Seems not to work anymore with $20SHOUT
    $8 delivery for Metro

    • Worked for me, I literally just bought a case.

    • No problem with the code for me either
Edit - actually i take that back, no go

  • +1

Thanks OP, bought some Cloud Catcher. The Pacific Ale is a fantastic drop, so I thought I would give the Cloud Catcher a go.

PS. The codes aren't stackable, but delivery was only $8 so still cheaper than a case of it from the shops.

  • +1

i cant seem to get the free shipping code and the $20 shout code to stack,
can anyone tell me how to?

  • +1

seem's like they've added the FREEDELIVERY code so that you can't stack with the signing bonus. IT department put in a fix as soon as they got into the office.

    • And delivery is $15, at least to me.
Not bothering with the hassle of delivery to save $5.

Edit: OK, actually went through the process and delivery was $8. It seems I'll deal for a $12 saving!

  • Thanks. 6L of pac ale delivered for $35

    • +2

      6 litres! Bargain!

      • Yeah the cans were the best value

  • +1

Anyone rate the Jasper red ale?

    • +4

Yep, my pick. Good malt profile, hop forward without overpowering, well balanced, nice alcohol weight. Got a case last time with the code and for a shade over $16 for a six pack equivalent I was very happy with price/quality. Nice and brewery fresh, too (i.e. delivered within 2-3 weeks of being canned).

      • +1

Thanks for hitting all my questions (beer age is very important)!

  • +4

can't stack $20 off & free delivery either, deal breaker for me.

    • You could last night. They must have changed it this morning.

  • +4

$15 delivery for a slab to my place which is just down the road from S&W. Not bl##dy likely.

    • You could stack the free postage with the $20 code last night, can't you do it anymore?

  • Pretty sure they don't offer free shipping to Wa

  • Mine said free shipping with no code last night, I put my postcode and it said free.

  • +1

Deal no longer valid, won't stack $20SHOUT with free delivery.

    • I should of bought last night, but I waited til today bahaha

      • +1

for a change I got in early bahaha

  • Took the $20 discount, paid the $8 shipping. Still good value for these beers!

  • Has anyone that received both Offers received an Delivery confirmation or received the Beer?

    • No it's just sitting as pending. I think they've been slammed as around two weeks ago when I made an order it shipped the same day as ordering (order done at 12pm) and arrived in Brisbane 2 days later.

      • Yeah same, I hope that is the case and they are still going to honor the free delivery + $20 off.

I will post back if the status changes, looks like I will need to get some additional supplies for the weekend.

        • Just received delivery confirmation, got it with free delivery + $20 off.

          • @Charlie-B: Yep same. Happy Days

          • @Charlie-B: Just checked the email, and it's actually to say the beer will be shipped in a day or two. :(

            • @Charlie-B: I actually think the hold up could be the couriers not the Brewery. My delivery tracker sad that the parcel was picked up on the 18/3….

              • @PaPaGeorGeo: Mine arrived yesterday morning. An email saying your order has shipped wasn't sent by Stone and Wood for another few hours after that.

                • @henrus: bought on 17/3 delivered 18/3 in Briz

                  • @debo: Picked up on the 18/3. Estimated delivery 1/4 in Perth :(

        • I got mine delivered on Tuesday with both free delivery and $20 off!

  • Is anyone else experiencing crazy long delivery times with Fastway? Last scan is picked up from Stone and Wood on 3rd of April, still waiting.
