Its when people have to be kept away from other people.

Its happening as people are confirmed covid infected.

These people could only get items delivered.

They're offering art supplies (which are traditionally street art… but still) at cheap prices to help keep you sane.

Several members of our team have been instructed to participate in mandatory isolation for 14 days after coming back from overseas. We recognise that people will want things to do to keep them occupied. Being creative with activities such as painting, drawing and sketching are positive ways to pass time.

        Mate it's an awesome deal.
        Thanks a lot.

Now… which kit do I need?

  • -3

Poor taste aside, can anyone confirm if these outrageous RRP’s are legit?

    • +4

To validate you can check out officeworks.com.au as they stock Ironlak products

    • +3

Yep, legit brand, good quality (for the paint I have used)
The kits they are offering are actually really good value.

      Like $50 for this

      15 x Ironlak 12mm Gouche Paint Tubes ($127.35)

      15 x Ironlak 45ml Oil Paint Tubes ($127.35)

      15 x Ironlak 12mm Watercolours Paint Tubes ($127.35)

10 x Ironlak 60ml Heavy Body Acrylic Paint Tubes ($84.90)

      BONUS

      1 x Ironak A3 Watercolour Pad ($21.99)

      1 x Ironlak A3 Acrylic Painting Pad ($21.99)

      is pretty good IMHO

I dont see any outrageous RRPs.

It's pretty rare to find a good 'street art' paint; most wash right off.

would help if your website worked

    • +2

Sorry, we've been getting lots of traffic. These deals are genuine and our regular customers are hammering the site. Our dev team are addressing. Site should be live again in 3-5 minutes

      • -2

        (85 clicks)

        Hmm..

        • +4

Our social following on instagram is 386,000 and for Facebook it's 318,000

        • you think they only get site traffic from ozbargain?

          • @tdw: Your comment came 4 hours too late. I wrote that 20 minutes after the rep posted this deal here wondering how their site got hammered after just 20 minutes with 85 clicks. I'm obviously going off just by this post since it happened shortly after.

  • That's just poor taste.

    • Glad the moderators removed the rubbish title.

Sooo tempted been wanting to get a few markers together for awhile, just can't figure out what kit to get

  • +2

Thanks OP. Snagged one of the Mega Art Kits as Hubby and I are keen to get Arting!

    • +1

      Nice! We hope you enjoy

      • I was gonna look; but my anxiety is off the charts, and all your advertising media was hazmat suits and virus images. Cant handle that now.

Need to be on PC where i can disable images.

  • In the mega art kit, it says it comes with Ironlak Brushes x 10 ($89.90). Are these oil or acrylic or watercolour brushes? Or are they a mix?

    • +1

Hey arccosec, it will be a random mix of brushes.

  • Not denying your prices must be pretty good since it’s getting some attention but your SKUs are a telling sign of this hacky marketing attempt:

    ULTIMATEKIT500
    $500 down from $3959.30

    ARTKIT150
    $150 down from $1322.60

    BOMBERKIT100
    $100 down from $719.51

Understandable if these are limited time SKUs, but I’m assuming these SKUs will never exist again after the promo’s over and they will never reach the slashed “was price”.

And please for the love of God, pick pictures that actually show what you’re selling and not obnoxious photos of stock “quarantine/Coronavirus/epidemic” photos. I can stand businesses trying to eke our some additional profit from the situation we are in, but at least make an attempt to spin a positive message out of it.

    • Your feedback has been noted, thanks for passing on. Ironlak social channels reflect that people are seeing a positive message out of this

      facebook.com/ironlak
      instagram.com/ironlak

Our regular customer, who these promo kits were designer for, knows exactly what we're offering.

New customers are welcome to navigate the rest of the site and see all of the included products, images, descriptions and RRPs.

If the way this promo is framed isn't for you, then that's ok.

      • Oh the promo's fine for me — I love Ironlak products. Glad your existing customers are loving the promo and sucking up the sales, but new customers would be much better served if they could interact/view the products that were on offer, much less without the obvious-is-obvious stock photo usage and messaging.

Also please get your dev team to serve the theme up behind a CDN of some sort (just go with Cloudflare it's free) — the theme is poorly set up, and your underprovisioned server is struggling to serve the 256 requests it takes to download all the 5.1MB of resources it takes to allow me to interact with the site. I can only scroll and interact after about 20s, and the loading only stops at about 39s.

    Ordered 2 kits.
That should help nicely when the kid and myself are stuck indoor for a few weeks.

What's the ETA for metro QLD?

    • Hey thank you! That's rad. We hope you and the little guy have a great time creating together! Order volume is through the roof. Expect delivery sometime in the week starting 30 March. If we can get it there sooner then we will

      • +1

        No worries.
Hopefully that won't be too late!
