If going budget, you'll probably find Intel has better cores than AMD.
Yes, some people have a 4GB, 15.6" HD screen with a 1TB HDD running a low AMD chip but if you're getting a new computer, you should at least be buying a 2020 computer, not a 2012 computer. Yes, it'll set you back more but if you use it every day for 5 years, it's worth it.
To future proof, a USB-C or Thunderbolt port would also be nice, but not needed if you won't use it.

Just bought one for $899 yesterday. Today it's $764.15.
Buy another one at this price. Return the original once the sale's over? Or just send it back anyway.
Go back in and ask them to refund the difference. They'll usually do it if it's with in a week. I've done it with a couple of items before.

I managed to bought the Ideapad L340 before it was Sold out on special price of $640 from Lenovo. Is it good or the the 2nd link of ebay you have shared is better one? I belive the difference is I 3 & I 5 processor but considering price and rest all specs same, its my purchase worth or add extra few $$$ and upgrade to i 5 one?
