        They do have an expiry. I have 4 $30 starter kits from 4 years ago, I went to activate one 2 weeks ago and I couldn't activate it or any of the other 3. I called up customer support and they can't help either.

    Anyone tried to get Vodafone support? Their call centre is completely shut down and does not take any calls

      Been trying for a few days, waited 3 hours today and eventually had the call dropped out.

        This. Waited 2 hours on Monday before getting booted, 3 hours on Tuesday before getting booted. Both times, I had go through the voice prompts 5 or 6 times to get through.

        Going to try again next week.

          What options do you select to even get to the waiting? Whatever options I chose, it always hung up saying no one is available to assist for now.

                @winniepoohspying: Use a voda reseller like kogan, with an offshore call center I guess. Sims are at 7/11.

                @winniepoohspying: There is only self help available. They should say the call centre is closed instead of lying to people that they are operating with limited staff.

                Back end support is closed since the teams are off shore but you can still activate your sims online

                  @Cellmate: I order a phone and sim on the plan. Tracking says it’s arriving today however only the sim arrived, and apparently the plan has already started last week. Just want to know what’s going on as I already have my first bill

                    @spc12go: Yes this happens to me as well. They lied about the phone being available when I was ordering the phone on the plan only to be told it was delayed and today I received only the sim - no phone! I am being charged for the plan without the phone! This is quite a scam esp. when there's no support with the whole call centre being closed.

                      @winniepoohspying: Check your tracking from Vodafone. There should now be another package with the same tracking number. The item hasn’t been picked up for me but it’s there. There are two reference number linked to one tracking number. So maybe there’s hope after all.

                    We are sorry to hear about what has happened however please note that we just sell Vodafone prepaid and not involved in plans of any sort and neither have anything to do with Vodafone directly in terms of a dealership or franchise.

                      Just a comment on the current customer support situation. I believe it’s due to locked down rule in India. But giving customers false expectation is a bad thing to do for any business.

    Alternatively, can I keep my number if I use the new sim card?

    You can only use this to activate a new number or port in from another network.

    Please note that this cant be used as a recharge to top up an existing Vodafone number
