All meals come Vacuum Packed and frozen. You can store in the freezer for months or defrost and reheat. Everything is cooked to order so we need up to 3 days to pack and then ship. We do not keep any of these in "stock" so need some time to prepare.

    This sounds pretty good. Can you explain how delivery to WA would work? I'd assume that the slaw, sour cream and the like would be jettisoned, but how does the food stay safe? Thanks

      we send the food in Foam boxes with special slow defrost ice packs. We have shipped hundreds of BBQ Meat packs over the last 3 years so know that it works. Regarding the Slaw, we can replace with Corn Bread. Just leave a note in the order.

        What sort of delivery service do you use? Australia Post has been really bad. I'm self isolating, have my front door wide open and can hear anyone outside. They sent a text saying no one was home and they had left a card. Of course they didn't leave a card, they didn't even come down my street most likely.

          I'm in ACT and received my order within less than 24 hours since it was shipped. The ice packs were still frozen. Very happy with how the order was packed and sent.

            @cookietime: glad to hear that. We found that this is the only way we can ship them and make sure they arrive in the correct condition. They can stay like that up to 2 days. But we don't like to risk it so always send everything overnight.

      We will be honoring the birthday deals when we are allowed to reopen. All the birthday vouchers that were valid during the shutdown period will be honoured.

      Regarding delivery, our own drivers do Melbourne wide delivery. Everywhere else it is TNT or similar overnight.

    Great place, recommend the food. Might see if I can pick up some meals to support them over this tough time!

      That is subsadised… By the time the foam box, ice packs and overnight shipping is added up, it is anywhere from $45 to $65 per package. We don't believe we can charge more than $25.

    Nice to see they are reasonably priced. I have seen some places trying to profiteer off all this with $60 lasagnas and the like. These sound pretty good so might place an order.

      sorry, it's more to do with the fact that it is easier for us to pack in larger quantities. The price of $5.9 unfortunately is based on a minimum of 10 of those packs. We can not mix them with others at that price. apologies once again.

      Unfortunately UberEats charges 35%. We just can't pay them 35% and sell at these prices unfortunately. Also, ubereats have stopped answering their emails and phones in the last 2 weeks. So we are not able to add anything to the menu even if we wanted to.

      We do not add any filler that contains Gluten so if the dish does not have pasta or baked goods, it will not contain Gluten.

    Just some feedback

    10 of the same meal is no where near as appealing as mix and match,

    I reckon your sales would increase if you could choose,

    I get its easier to make 10 of the same meal though…

      it does not have to be 10 of the same, just a combination of 10 packs from the 5.9 price point. For example there are 5 dishes there, you could order 2 of each.

    Just received my meat packs today and the freezer packs were still hard, job well done! Now to wait to the weekend to try 1.

    Will you be adding reheating instructions for all these new meal packs to your website/paper leaflet? Thanks
