All meals come Vacuum Packed and frozen. You can store in the freezer for months or defrost and reheat. Everything is cooked to order so we need up to 3 days to pack and then ship. We do not keep any of these in "stock" so need some time to prepare.

        Hi Greg, are the $4.9 meals the same weight or smaller? I also see you've added afterpay. That's awesome and allows me to do a larger order and absorb the postage across more meals.

          Hi, the $4.9 meals are a little smaller.. You can see all the sizes by clicking on the Nutritional Info under each meal.

          There is also a new discount code CORONA2 for all the other meals available now. I will be releasing all these around Wednesday next week on OzBargain. But you can use the discount code now.

            @gregor20: I'm a little concerned about the transportation given some others experience on here with food arriving just cool. One person was at the Gold Coast, and I'm five hours north of that. Do you think it will be ok? Are you adding more ice packs for further distances? I'm looking at ordering 20 odd meals and just don't want them to turn up warm.

              @dmbminaret: Absolutely, the couriers are extremely weird now. We have increased the amount of protection for boxes and add more ice sheets in there. So should be ok unless the courier companies completely abolish their promises and start delivering when it suits them and not the timeframe they promised.

                Can you please, if possible, time delivery so it doesn't turn up 7-11th May by pushing out early next week or holding until week after? No huge deal, just a work address where I stay onsite and that is my weekend off so I'd have to get someone to freeze. Cheers.

                      @dmbminaret: Looks like post code 4165 is considerably cheaper… so yes should be able to get the order there in 2 business days as quoted by TNT. Our packing will hold the product cold for that time. Sorry about the inconvenience. The couriers have decided that they can pretty much double their prices overnight.

                        @gregor20: So should I place another order. Amit cancelled this one and said 4165 would still be no good.

                        Also shows minimum of 3business days for delivery :( which is not good to send out the food. I have already refunded the complete amount on the order. We would love to serve you but unfortunately due to couriers being unreliable lately we are unable to proceed your order this time.

                          @dmbminaret: I just checked and it is now showing 2 days… This happens sometimes. If you like, please place another order. If you are able to combine 2 orders, it would help because the freight will cost the same for you but might be a bit cheaper for us.

    How many many $4.90/$6.90 meals can fit in the $20 shipping to ACT (one I chose last time and had about 15 meals). I've got 10x $4.90 and 10x $6.90 meals this time and the only option is $35. Also do you sell the corn bread separately? I absolutely loved it! Final question, for ribsy, can beef ribs be swapped for pork ribs?

      Hi, regarding freight. Unfortunately all courier companies raised their prices over the last month, especially for express deliveries. This is possibly why the cost of the freight went up. The price gauging has caught us completely by surprise and we had to send quite a few orders where we lost money. We are not able to change the courier pricing unfortunately. The best way to decrease the cost is to average out the freight over a larger order. Sorry about that.

      Regarding corn bread, we can organise a separate invoice for you. Once you placed an order please send a DM we will work out the cost and send an invoice for the additional items. We are a bit addicted to our corn bread as well.. but we are biased and should not be saying how good it is ;)

    Just received my second order. Good work team.
    I see some nutrition value stickers on some of the foods.

    Keep up the good work.

    The packaging for the meat chilli and beans suggest there is 70 grams of protein, not sure how accurate this is but not complaining.

    My order came and everything was frozen which is great.

    THE $4.90 MEALS COMES IN LARGER PACKAGING THAN THE $5.90 MEALS (PROBABLY BETWEEN 1.5 - 2 TIMES BIGGER IN SIZE DUE TO PACKAGING). AS I ORDERED 15 MEALS I STRUGGLED TO FIT EVERYTHING IN MY FREEZER.

    That is just an FYI as it is something people will need to consider when ordering large orders!

    I'll definitely be buying again and thanks again!

      Great to hear… we are on a continual journey of improvement. The packaging in future will be much more streamlined to fit better into freezers.

      We have learned a great deal over the last few weeks and worked out a bunch of issues. We have improved boxes and packaging methods for the interstate orders to make sure the food stays frozen / cold for much longer. Unfortunately the couriers are completely unpredictable these days. An overnight package recently took 4 days to reach a customer (the courier charged us for an express overnight fee). So we have to spend a lot more effort, time and cost to make sure that the package can stay cold longer in transit.

      All the labels have now been printed so future products will have the nutritional info labelled fully.
