[PC] Free - Autobahn Police Simulator (Was $15.80) @ Steam

1310

Autobahn Police Simulator is the first simulation to realistically reflect the working life of a police officer on the German Autobahn. In numerous and diverse operations the player is responsible for enforcing law and order on Europe’s fastest roads.

One Drop Bot is a 3D Puzzle-Platformer where you play as a cute yet somewhat creepy robot, traveling from one room to the next solving challenges, each something different from the last. These challenges will test your skills in a variety of ways. Collecting health throughout the game is key, because when you die, and you will, all health collected up to that point comes back. That means that at respawn, all health ever collected respawns with you as well. The catch, however, is that you have to start over at the very beginning of the game similar to a rogue-like.

That's one of the most niche simulator games I've ever seen.

Honestly read it as Autobarn Simulator and now I'm surprised at how disappointed I am.

Thanks OP, I will definitely give that police sim a go.

I didn't bother installing the bot game though, the reviews all suggest that the controls and camera are so bad it's basically unplayable which is a shame because the little robot is cute.

This is the first game in the series. The sequel Autobahn Police Simulator 2 was releasaed in 2017 for PC and gets a PS4 release on 1 May 2020.

The game is similar to "Crash Time". A series of 5 games released from 2007-2012 on 360 and PC. Based on the long running German TV series Alarm für Cobra 11.

Guys do NOT pay attention to the ratio of negative to positive reviews!

Upon reading some of the “positive” reviews reveals most of them are “joke” positive reviews (one of the many Steam plagues) so the 30 odd percent positive realistically is much lower.

In other words, the game is absolute shovelware and unless you have always had a burning desire to wear a blue suit patrolling the German motorway, then free is too expensive.

Also thanks a LOT OP, now the Kraftwerk song is stuck in my head the catchy bastard!
