Good deal, got mine a few days ago, amazing sound quality in such a small n light package. Also have insane noise isolation, even though they aren't active noise cancelling.

    • If your amazed by this noise isolation wait till you try the xm3 active noise cancelling. Big difference and worth every dollar.

      • Are you referring to WH1000XM3?

I'm in the market for replacement earphones/buds - but WH1000XM3 are generally $300 so more than double the price here - is it fair to compare?

        • Have been up for $199 very recently, so for $66 extra, I'd say they're a significant upgrade

          • @Gonltruck: Any links to the WH1000XM3 for $199 outside of maybe a 100 stock eBay plus promotion?

            • @theknight27: Yes - I was referring to the WF-1000-XM3, refer to Thunderchunt's original comment

"I'm in the market for replacement earphones/buds"

I think they mistakenly wrote WH

        • I'm guessing they're referring to the WF-1000XM3 (earbud version as opposed to over-ear headphones)

          • @ak47wong: Yes - I was referring to the WF-1000-XM3, refer to Thunderchunt's original comment

That's a great deal, I'm happy to get a second pair to keep at work or spare pair to keep in the car.

  • Everyone says good deal however I put mine (brand new sealed from samsung promotion)for sale on Gumtree for $100, no one interested:(

    • +1

      i'll give you $80… #chancer..

    • +3

      Sorry to hear that.

For insight, $130 with warranty, returns, credit card insurances, paypal protection, ebay protection, etc is much more appealing to me than a $100 "buyer takes all risk" arrangement for a piece of electronics

    • Weird I put mine for $125 and got heaps of offers, sold it last week.

    • +1

Which location? Probably matters (inspite of shipping options).

    • +2

Gumtree you say? I'll give you $20.

      • +3

Gumtree? I'll offer the $100, organise a date and time and place for pick-up over half a dozen messages and then not turn up.

        • +3

Ah, I see you're my usual type of buyer.

  • Will Officeworks price match this? Are these the equivalent to airpods?

    • +1

Officeworks won't pricematch, as a coupon code is required.

  • This doesn't have ANC right?

    • No just noise isolation due to fitment.

      • I thought the buds did have ANC. The buds plus don't have it.
Buds have a feature where you tap and hold to listen to background noise.

        • No they don't have ANC. Background noise isn't a feature of ANC. Due to the passive isolation that rubber tips has, it blocks out a lot of sound, so the being able to hear what is going on through backgound noise induction is still useful, weather you have anc or passive noise cancellation.

      I don't know, is it?

    • +15 dollar shipping, + waiting time from Hong kong

    • Shipping cost is $15

      • Would not buy from tecobuy. Waited 2 weeks with no dispatch. Had to get my money back through payoal

        • ooo okay. thanks

  • I don't wear ear buds as a rule so unsure. Do these fit well, never fall out etc? Was thinking of using these for gym, exercise etc.

    • +3

      As a rule?

    • Very light and good fit, wont fall out running or gym

Please make sure you check that they are fake at this price. I ordered from Amazon Australia (fulfilled by Amazon, next day delivery) and I received a fake pair. You can tell by the misspelling on the security stickers. This youtube video is great.

FYI, these are awesome for the price. Great sound and they work seamlessly with both a Galaxy and Pixel phone.

  • Better go for Buds+, much better call quality and battery life.

    • +1

At almost double the price? I'd say these are still really good value - with almost the same build quality, design and sound quality.
Battery life is fine with the original buds, but I do admit the call quality could be better when not in a quiet place.

  • This or the buds plus for $212.50. Are the extra features worth the extra $80?

    • +2

really depends on whether you consider additional battery life and increased call quality worth $80. Personally, I would say no since those features aren't of as much interest as build quality and fit.

  • I hope they will sell the gloss red Galaxy Buds+ when it comes to aus.

    They look AMAZING. Sooo sexy.

  • I'm typing this as I am listening to music using the original Galaxy Buds. I got mine over a year ago now with the S10 preorder deal, and I can guarantee you that it sounds pretty good, and I swear I dropped it tens of times - and it works without any issues.
100% recommend if you are using Samsung / any other Android phone. If your using iPhone, go for Airpods.

  • Is it original samsung bud, local stock covered by 2 years warranty? Thanks all.

be honest.. you didn't even check the listing before asking lol
