How good is the microphone on these for calls? I am looking to a bt headset for calls and music.

None of these over-ear ANC Bluetooth headphones are well-regarded for their mics (even the flagship Bose QC 35 IIs or the Sony WH-1000XM3s).

That being said, I have the XM3s and the mic has worked surprisingly well when I've needed it, though that's primarily been in quiet environments like empty offices and at home. In noisy environments, most people report that the mics on Bluetooth headphones are next to useless (though it's a bit better with in-ear ANC headphones like the AirPods, as their longer stem allows the mic to be sufficiently closer to the mouth to make a noticeable difference).

Got one. Awesome price. Thank you.

I am tossing between this or the flagship WH-1000XM3. I need headphones only for watching movies on HomeTheater at late nights when family members are sleeping. Can't decide which one to go for. Anyone with expertise suggestions……?

Get the XM3s if noise cancellation is high on the priority list. Otherwise these are better value especially at this price.

These are the “Extra Bass” model and apparently have massive amounts of bass, which can be turned down slightly in the App, but according to reviewers it can still be too much bass for the average user.
