Hi OP, any deals on the BH85s?

    • +5

I don't have a deal for those atm, but send me a private message with BH085 in the title and I will be happy to let you know when I have one.

      • I'm keen on this too. I bought the bh040 from your very first TaoTronics post and keen to buy another ANC headphone this week. Already had a few friends buy a TT based off my recommendations so eager to show them what the BH085 can do

    • Hey Mate, I have just posted a deal for the BH085s at the link below.

How does TaoTronics TWS compared to Soundpeats?

  • +1

Are there any neckband style that support aptx and usb-c charging?

    • Not yet but they are introducing new products all the time.

    • +4

If you're talking about aptX low latency (for gaming, presumably), the only neckband style that clearly advertises both aptx LL and USB-C charging I've found are:

      • In the sub-$100 range, you can find the Aukey B80 on eBay right now for $75.55.
      • In the mid-$100 range, the Sennheiser CX 350BT goes for $139 on Amazon AU and a few other online retailers, or $149 if you want to get one quickly from a local JB or The Good Guys.
      • +1

Thanks mate. Where does it say that aukey b80 has aptx?

        • +1

Codecs: SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX LL

          http://old.aukey.com/products/hybrid-dual-driver-bluetooth-e…

Transform the way you experience your music. The Key Series B80 Earbuds feature an HD hybrid driver system and aptX Low Latency support for accurate, high-resolution wireless audio.

          https://www.aptx.com/products/aukey-b80-hybrid-dual-driver-b…

Worth keeping in mind that decent number of reviews out there complain about the B80 having a constant white noise in the background at lower volumes… But I don’t have a set myself to test against other Bluetooth headphones to see if this is a legitimate problem with the B80, or if it’s exaggerated, or if it’s the result of something else that the reviewers didn’t correctly identify.

    • Yes, they do.. the 2020 model (TT-BH085). The one on sale here (TT-BH060) is old model and old stock!

Hey Mate, I keep asking and keep being told that more BA09s, as well as other stock, has been sent but no one knows when it will arrive. There are not a lot of flights coming from China right now & SunValley are regretting that they did not send products by sea in February, which would have taken around 51 days. For some products, like the BA09, they prefer to keep a minimum in stock rather than sell out.

Trust me when I say that as soon as more stock arrives that I will be all over it like Harvey Weinstein on an aspiring actress.

      • +5

Ok…. Thank you for detailed reply. I think i can live without it for some more time.

Appreciate the effort in trying to snag a bargain on it.

    • +1

I have the BH-060s and they're pretty good (especially for the price)

    Two small issues though

    1) Is it possible to connect to two devices simultaneously? Or does the BH-085 support this? I use it for work, and would like to take calls from my phone and use skype/teams on my PC. At the moment I need to disconnect from one device and then reconnnect to another so it's a bit fiddly to answer a call.

    2) On my work Dell PC the microphone drops out after about 5 minutes. I still hear the other party, but they can't hear me. No amount of changing the sound settings will bring it back - have to disconnect and reconnect (and then it only works another 5 minutes). Happens on all apps (skype/teams/webex)

Doesn't happen on my phone, and doesn't happen on my Surface laptop. I was wondering if there are any known issuse/incompatibilities with certain bluetooth hosts? My next step is to try a USB bluetooth dongle….unless there's a known fix.

  • Does BH-85 have aptX low latency??

  • +4

Have owned the 060s and the 085s. The 085s eat these for breakfast; not even a comparison. Way better sound, noise cancelling, comfort, latency, and the ability to connect two at once. Cannot speak about the 046s, but could not be happier with the 085s.

    • How does battery life compare with bose 35?

      • Can't speak to the comparison, but the battery life has been awesome so far. Only charged a couple of times

    • Thanks for sharing! Gutted I missed out on the last 085s deal.

    • Thanks.

    • Does connecting to two work simultaneously?

Eg you could take a call on your phone, hang up, then continue listening to music on your pc or do a Skype conference on your pc? No need to disconnect one device?

  • +1

I got these and the Bluedio t5s. These are not as good unfortunately. Sound and battery life and build quality(while very good) are not as good as the Bluedios.

I use these for voice based audio as for music the sound is not rich.
