Terrible reviews, I wouldn't buy it for 15$

I bought T1C for $25, and I think they are worth that much. You can't really expect much for the price.

I think we've come a long way with true-wireless technology and there's probably stuff out there for a similar or lower or a bit higher prices - that can probably serve you better than literally people going like "Rubbish" "the worst thing"

I'm not one to speak, didn't downvote it just because I have no experience with cheap variants of true-wireless buds, but that's just my 2cent-
people should review the reviews before going like "hot damn" or w/e

If people really need bargains , just scout eBay.com.au very often for people that accept offers :)

I've bought a lot, and no there aren't magical cheap TWS buds. Spend closer to the $100 mark and you are getting really decent ones. At this price you cannot expect greatness. the T1C works well, I use it for podcasts etc while running. Good battery life, terrible mic, decent sound, sometimes get connection issues. Some of these things are present in devices worth much more than this. If you find a good deal on ebay, that's great, but in general these perform accordingly to their price.

          • @onlinepred: Would you recommend spending more and buying something like the Jaybird Vista's for $150 https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/528508 then? My Jaybird X3's (I thought they were pretty good sonically) went through the wash and are now kaputt:( Certainly good sound is priority and I would want to exercise with them too. Appreciate any help you can give!

        • i think it's all depends on how you would like to use these cheap TWS buds. From audio quality they definitely won't be great. For me I mainly use them for podcast while sleep, so the audio quality isn't the most priority for me, and these cheap buds works perfect for such conditions.

    • I see lots of good reviews and I think this was Ozbargain favourites TWS last year. I guess you need to set your expectation based on the price as well.

I checked all the products, so many people gave it 1-2 star reviews, I wouldn't gamble.

Go to town mydude, didn't downvote it, I'm allowed to share insight :(

        I am a Karen afterall :(

I have some, and they arent that bad. They are worse than my 65T's but not that much worse.

  • Bought the magnetic charging cable from the last deal, quite happy with how it performs.

FYI the light is quite bright and doesn't turn off even when you're not charging, so if you definitely need to sleep in pitch black conditions, then it might not be for you.

  • Are the Pros much better??

    • +2

No, they have slightly different functions. e.g.

      • T1 Pro has touch functionality while T1C has push button (note that touch functionality does need a bit getting used to, as it's a bit sensitive so if you were touching the earbud to adjust it and inadvertently touched the touch panel it would pause the music, etc).
      • T1C doesn't have a lid on the casing while T1 Pro has sliding lid, etc.
  • They seem ok but they dont last very long

  • Good for the price you pay. They connect superfast. Mostly connect ok but sometimes they do need a reset. Voice quality if ok not great but ok. Size is little big but nothing crazy.

  • +2

My T1C arrived from the last deal, havnt made any calls yet but 100% worth it for music. Cheaper then a 4 pack of boubon.

  • Coupon OKF5OGF9 doesn't seem to work.
