$10 off in-Store with QR Code ($10 Minimum Spend and Membership Required) for Existing Eligible Members @ IKEA

4500

We have received our first quarterly $10 reward from IKEA today. The coupon codes (QR and online: IF84Pk7u) are the same for both accounts (see screenshot attached). To shop in store you have to scan your IKEA Family membership card and get the discount verified by the staff.

$10 minimum spend applies.

Update: Delivery and click&collect may sometimes not work for some IKEA stores "due to unprecedented demand"

Update2: the code doesn't work online unless you are logged with an eligible account. Must work with IKEA membership, if spent over $100 from 21 Feb (start date of the campaign) to 31 March 2020

Update3: it has been confirmed - the code sometimes works online, no membership required, min spend $10

Update4: QR code can be used multiple times with any IKEA membership number

Update5: online code has become invalid after it got ozbargained

      • I didn’t receive any communication regarding the 2 cancelled ones but got emails and texts for the ones that got through.

Have used the code 2 more times this morning for AAA’s. I received confirmation for the orders earlier and another one just now that they’ve been picked. Fingers crossed!

    • Do you mean you made 2 more orders today? I thought the code has been invalid

  • +1

Just ordered 4 AAA LADDA'S and worked fine, thanks.

    • Did you use your IKEA membership number and the code? Have you spend over $100 in past 3 months?

      • I clicked skip and haven't spent any money there in the last 3 months, the code went through fine. http://imgur.com/a/pcjZrHB

        • Thanks for confirming mate, I'll fix the description

        • That’s so lucky you. I tried but failed to use the code anymore

  • Has anyone actually recieved an email or text saying to come get your order?

    Just waiting patiently. 😁

    • Yes, got that message today. Haven’t bought anything there for months.

      • Cancelled.
Bastards couldnt honour it. Im sure the mirror cost 40c to make anyway haha.

  • Not working for me and I genuinely had the code! :(

I managed to pick up batteries today at rhodes
Made 3 different purchases for 1 lot of batteries each.
They didn't ask for my membership or anything when I went to pick up
    Thanks op

    • Did you received an email or text saying to come get your order?
Or did you just turn up.

  • Not Working anymore.
was tried before but had an error during processing now o luck to get it to work.

  • is it just me or has Ikea Adelaide not had any of these bloody batteries for a year?

    • +2

I bought them from the recent similar deal, and I placed an order from this deal as well but haven't picked them up yet. And I have neither received 'Ready for Pickup' email nor a cancellation one. It was the same story in the previous deal too. I called them after a couple of days and I was told it was there and I could go there and pick it up.

      • thanks for the info. Mine updates and there is no Adelaide on the list of click and collect stores- just some in WA and Vic.

    • I got some at the start of this deal

  • +2

Purchased and used in store to problem.

    • When did you do that? And do you have an Ikea Family card (used it with this purchase)?

      • +1

yesterday, when you scan the QR code, it then stops of attendant assistance which needs to be overrided to confirm.
the attendant then asks you to scan your family QR code.

        • Ta.

PS: Did you receive this code by email or you didn't and just used the one posted here?

          • @AussieDaddy: I had the voucher in my email prior.

            • @thydzik: Ah! Maybe that's why it worked for you, I guess. Didn't receive it so I don't think it's worth going there and risking embarrassment. haha

  • Ordered on the 18th and got a cancellation email yesterday

    • +1

Damn that sucks, my 2 orders are ready to be picked up today.

      • +1

        Congratulations

        • Thanks.

  • Yeah cancellation for me as well :( they really need to fix their promotions, so disappointed

    • fix their promotions? disappointed why?

Thanks OP! Used In-store yesterday at Perth IKEA with 2 different family membership barcodes. Had screenshot of $10 discount QR, scanned this then attendant asked for membership barcode. Scored $10 off each $11 purchase!

    • Did you receive the $10 offer from Ikea or not, and just used this one?

      • I used OP’s QR code which I took a photo of then made my purchase. Scanned QR, attendant asked me to scan my family membership bar code which I did and $10 was deducted from my $11 purchase. Haven’t tried to repeat with same membership barcode

        • I was just wondering if you received the $10 discount offer from Ikea as well. Some people who purchased stuff in store received the offer so I was just trying to figure out whether this worked for everyone or only for those who received the offer. Ta

    • +1

Also worked for me just now in Ikea Perth! Thanks for the heads up :-) (wasn't due an email or code for my account either).

  • +1

Code not working at online checkout ,even for qualified recipients.

  • It has been 7 days now and still no pick-up email. Rocked up there this evening and they told me I have to wait for the second email. 👎

  • The QR code works multiple times with any IKEA family account!!

    • Did a staff member have to override it or it let you do it by yourself? Also, were you eligible for the $10 from Ikea or not? It's 8 days now and I still haven't received the 'ready to pickup' email. If this works I might just go there and buy stuff and get a refund for the one I placed online.

      • +2

Staff have to come to the self checkout register and swipe their card to authorise the discount.
Yes, I was eligible for the discount, but I could used the code two times and also could use another ineligible account with $10 off with no problem.
I guess this is a generic QR discount code that works with every IKEA Family account and has no conditions apart from min spend, though I haven't try to buy something under $10.

        • +1

Cheers. Was looking for someone to confirm that and couldn't get such a definitive answer. Will give it a try tomorrow or Monday.

          • +2

@AussieDaddy: Confirmed here too. Used the QR code twice on 2 membership cards instore!

  • +1

It worked in store at Ikea rhodes as well

  • This not working anymore

    • Online or in-store?

    • Same online

      • They have changed the code. I had to ring up and ask for the new code for members who validly qualified for the deal.

        • They should be putting it on the emails they send then

    • Works in store multiple times.

  • Does the qr code still work at the store?

    • Worked on Saturday. I think it is a generic code with expiry by end of June.

Dont you have to pay to use click and collect at ikea?

ETA - yes just tried its $9.00

  • +2

Just tried this in store and staff would only allow me to use it twice and then stated you're meant to have a different account to use it each time. I'll try again click and collect for something next week.

    • Have you used it twice at one time, or two separate times? I have placed a C&C order on the 18th of April and they never sent me that 'Ready to collect' email yet. Went there last week and they told me to wait for that email/text message. Have called them a couple of times since and the last time I asked them to just refund me. Their C&C is horrible, at least here at their Adelaide store. Gotta try it in store if I can use it twice while I am there.

      • You should've tried this last Sunday or Monday 🤭

        • Too lazy to go to the store. :)

      • +1

I'm planning on trying the generic code at the Adelaide store tomorrow. Definitely haven't spent the qualifying amount. Hopefully it works

      • +2

I can confirm that the generic code still works to get $10 off with minimum spend of $10. This is at Ikea Adelaide. In-store purchase. Scanned the code and assistant came over and then scanned my Ikea membership. I had only recently signed up to membership and used my free $10 sign up credit previously. Have not spent over any other qualifying amount.

        • This QR code can be used multiple times. Basically you can get stuff for free if it cost just over $10

        • +1

Also, the number of times you can use it is probably dependent on the attendant at the time, the lady I went to allowed me to use it twice at the same time before telling me off. But I bet if you found a new person, or went through a different checkout each time and they didn't recognise you, im sure you could use it multiple times, just depends on if someone notices you and pulls you up.

          • +1

@staryknight: Yea I'm not game to do it twice on the same transaction. I'd go to a different checkout too. I prefer the self checkout cos they probably won't ask you any questions. Once per day is probably enough. Paid 96 cents each the 2 times I went in

  • Doesn't work at ikea springvale.

Once u scan the qr code the attendant need to check.

Unless you have original email with ur ikea membership details match.

    • Wow that's unfortunate. I can screenshot it again so it looks like an email. The problem is that the email contains the membership number in the top right corner and in the bottom.

      • +1

Don’t worry about it. I was just trying my luck today lol.

  • Anyone know what the cheapest item is besides a 69c plastic bag / plate?

    • +1

i think thats the cheapest so far thats useful, otherwise ugly serviettes i saw was 49c

      • Is that on the website? Can only see $1 ones lol

        • i went in store :)

  • Does it work with Click & Collect? It accepts the shopping cart but it reverts back when I progress to the next screen. Anyone having the same issue?

    • +1

Worked until it got ozbargained on the first night of deal posting.

  • +1

Used successfully three times in the last two days instore at IKEA Canberra, no questions asked.
    Thanks OP.

  • +1

    Works a treat. Thanks OP!

  • Have you guys received your refund for online order cancellation?

    • +1

After a week of calls and emails they refunded me last week. They never sent me a ready-for-collection email, and when I turned up at the store after a week of waiting they told me I have to wait for that message/email. Their click and collect system is shite (at least here in Adelaide). Won't bother with C&C from Ikea again.

  • +1

This worked in store today. Thanks for the bonus. Kids are learning to tell the time and got a silent clock.

  • +1

Just used it in store today, thanks OP.
