$10 off in-Store with QR Code ($10 Minimum Spend and Membership Required) for Existing Eligible Members @ IKEA

4500

We have received our first quarterly $10 reward from IKEA today. The coupon codes (QR and online: IF84Pk7u) are the same for both accounts (see screenshot attached). To shop in store you have to scan your IKEA Family membership card and get the discount verified by the staff.

$10 minimum spend applies.

Update: Delivery and click&collect may sometimes not work for some IKEA stores "due to unprecedented demand"

Update2: the code doesn't work online unless you are logged with an eligible account. Must work with IKEA membership, if spent over $100 from 21 Feb (start date of the campaign) to 31 March 2020

Update3: it has been confirmed - the code sometimes works online, no membership required, min spend $10

Update4: QR code can be used multiple times with any IKEA membership number

Update5: online code has become invalid after it got ozbargained

In before the ladda batteries get mentioned šŸ¤«
Would make them $5 a pack!

    • -1

Yay..finally got myself some batt….never mind! Price is inflated though. Cheers Op.

      • +3

        $5 for 4 is inflated?

      • -2

        username checks out

    • +1

ā€œProduct descriptionā€ section states 500 charges. ā€œ Sustainable life at homeā€ section states 1500. Which is it?

  • +4

That is the same code as mine (!!). Makes you wonder if every 'quarterly bonus' is the same code across all members…

    • +2

The system most likely verifies your Family card has met the criteria before applying the discount, so the code wouldn't matter.

  • +5

Nine dollar delivery what costs 1 dollar

    • +2

      Can get 4 spoons…lol.

  • +10

A friend got fined by police for going to ikea. Ikea is deemed not essential. So I wonder why is it still open then.

    • +1

      In which state?

      • +3

        Sydney.

        • +65

Iā€™ve never heard of that state.

        • -1

Is sydeny now an island within an island? šŸ‡¦šŸ‡ŗšŸ’

    • +16

What the lmao. you are kidding? They can't expect us to work from home without proper equipment the clowns. If it's not essential it shouldn't be open.

      Just appeal it.

    • +12

your friend could have said they were buying furniture for their new home or buying for someone for their new home. And also people buy furniture if they're working from home?

I think the reason your friend gave wasn't logical enough.

      • -5

So your saying he should just lie to the cops?

Sounds to me like he got fined because he was breaking the current law of only leaving for the essential reasons.

Sure, if he was heading to IKEA for a new study desk needed to WFH he should have been ok, but to head there to scratch an old Ozbargain Eneloop itch.. Good luck twisting that into a valid reason.

        • +13

          Yeah he should've lied.

          • +3

@Cusack: Yep, I would have lied too.

It's interesting that in other Ozb discussions people get shot down for wanting to take their gf for a bush walk in an isolated and remote place, but it's ok to go and pick up Eneloops apparently!

Break gov laws, lie to cops, risk lives all in the name of saving a couple of bucks on a pack of AAs!

Lolz, what a bunch of schitzo-hypocrites we have here.

            • +1

@Grish: upvoted cos funny, but also kinda true :P

            • +1

              @Grish: Different people. Different POVs.

    • +14

Lol if Ikea is not essential… why would they let them still open then?

      • Because different people have different needs?

    • +1

What did your 'friend' say when he/she questioned by the police?

Police will warn people before they issue a fine

      • Is this true? Did the famous cases (driving lesson, kebab) already have warnings?

        • +1

Driving lesson was in VIC. Kebab had more than 1 warnings asking him to move on.

Driving lesson ticket has also been withdrawn

    • +21

Tell your friend to tell the police he/she was going to Ikea to buy this jigsaw puzzle (authorized by Scott Morrison, Canberra): https://www.ikea.com/au/en/p/lustigt-puzzle-10365061/

    • He probably said he is craving for meatballs or daim cake. Which is essential to me but not to many.

      • Oooh I love those meatballs, smothered in gravy….

    • So they just randomly pulled him over and questioned him?
If ikea was an issue wouldnā€™t they just park out the front of the store and go to town?

      • +5

Yeah, Iā€™m calling BS on this.

    • ..

  • +2

I got the same code too

  • I didnā€™t get any emails from ikea with codes. So I need to sign up to anything special. I Have an idea family membership

    • +2

I think the quarterly vouchers are for spending $100 in the previous quarter.

    • Youā€™ve got to have an iKea family membership

  • Ozbargained - I get an error message "It doesn't match a campaign at all." when applying the coupon code

    • Its probably linked to the account, while the code is generic, it would need an account that have earnt it to work.

So just sign up a new account to get their intro 10 dollar voucher.

      • Code works. No sign up required. I just tried

        • Hmm weird. I'll try again

    • +2

My email came with the following text

You've spent over $100 with us this quarter and we bet it's looking pretty great at your place! Weā€™re rewarding you with a voucher worth $10, and thanks for being a member of our IKEA Family. We know that right now weā€™re meeting most of our customers online, so make sure you enter the coupon code above to claim your discount when you shop at IKEA.com.au. A minimum purchase of $10 applies.

    • So my bad - it works. No account/card number required. It will error on the first page when you review your shopping cart, but if you proceed to the following page, there is another opportunity to put in the coupon code. At that second page, the coupon code will apply.

Minimum spend is also $10 as payment will not process for $0 payment as I was trying to purchase $9.99 worth of goods. Still got a few things for 90c so I'm quite happy

  • +2

No Ladda rechargeable batteries in Richmond.

    • Vata batteries from bunnings better, and cheap anyway :)

      • +1

Cheaper, yes, but better? Have you got any scientific proof?

  • +4

I'm guessing you may have to spend $100 in the last quarter to be eligible for this $10 credit, meaning that you need your IKEA membership number.

Also pretty sure $10 min spend is required.

    • Can spend $9.99 with click and collect, still works. But I haven't collected anything yet.

      • Hey good to know the tricks! Hope you get what you ordered

        • Doesn't work now if less than 10 spent

          • +1

@alexshel: It never did work, even on the welcome $10 code… Even though the total is $0.00 you needed to input cc details and when you do and submit it takes you to a page that errors out.

    • +1

$10 minimum spend as I couldn't get this Frebro..free bro!

      https://www.ikea.com/au/en/p/frebro-mirror-40455060/

      $9.99

  • +1

    Worked! Thanks

  • +1

Doesnā€™t seem to work for me - when I add it to the coupon code section it says ā€œIt doesn't match a campaign at all.ā€

    • There seems to be an issue entering the coupon code on the first page when you review your shopping cart. But if you proceed to the following page, there is another opportunity to put in the coupon code. At that second page, the coupon code will apply.

      • +1

I actually think it was just not reaching the $10 min spend! But thanks!

    • Mine also comes up ā€œIt doesn't match a campaign at all."

  • I was charged a service fee of $69 for the $1 spoons. Also, says that $10 is the minimum spend for me

    • that seems entirely reasonable. LOL.

    • Username checks out.

  • Minimum spend $10. Otherwise "It doesn't match a campaign at all".

  • +1

I can't pay. Continuously failing. " Something went wrong"

    • oos for VIC For the ladda batteries

  • Confirmed $69 delivery fee in WA.

  • WOW, what stopping you putting 100 orders for $11 each?

    • +2

Well staff will obviously speak to their managers and all the orders will be investigated and cancelled

    • -1

      Shhhhhh!!!!

      • +2

        Too loud..sites frozen!

    • +1

They will catch on when you say I am here to pickup 100 orders. They Would just go (OK) then Look at Subtotal and go well I see why you did soooo many orders rather than just 1 order

  • +1

    Worked for me, thanks OP!

  • Code Works $10+ (PICKUP OPTION)
Delivery + Item = Making it over $10 TOTAL DOESN'T WORK (POSTAGE IS NOT INCLUDE AS PART OF $10 OFF)

  • +1

Thanks! Worked for me too. Just bought a wall clock.

    • PICKUP ?

  • +3

I will skip this one as in current scenario retail businesses in hardship to keep staff employed.

    • +1

This isn't a local corner store, its a huge multi national corporation and it mostly pays no tax.

Also, just think of how many people they have to employ to keep one step ahead of professional ozBargainers.

  • Tried getting a $1 item + shipping but it doesn't work. Like a few people have stated, it only works if you have $10 worth of products NOT including shipping.

  • IKEA may reject, again, when you guys place too many orders on ladda

Last time when I got there C&C, well it was Mon instead of Sat, the staff just told me that they would not handle out any battery orders, with a mysterious smile. And 30 min before that I did receive the msg to remind C&C. What was wrong with IKEA?
Didn't receive the refund to my card yet.

    • I just bought Ladda AAA batteries, but why would they reject battery C&C order?

      • Don't know yet

    • +1

      Ordered 1x LADDA. Will C&C a mysterious smile. šŸ™ƒ

      • Have a good excuse ready just in case you get pulled over by cops šŸ˜

        • Stop kissing me officer!

    • U get rejected before?

      • What did you mean by 'before'? Last C&C failure was my first reject by IKEA

  • +1

Anyone else getting a invalid basket when adding the ladda batteries?

    • Oos in Vic for online orders

  • Click and collect option wont load for me

  • This page isnā€™t workingww8.ikea.com is currently unable to handle this request.
    HTTP ERROR 500

    maybe try it tomorrow morning.

    • it's wasting my time… tried 3 times.
      i give up…:(

  • +4

Party is not over yet, payment went through after few attempts

  • -1

    looks like they caught on

  • +1

Just got an order through a moment ago after many attempts

    • are you hitting back and then continue?

  • +4

I ordered a small item a few days ago and collected it today. They put it in those $1 blue IKEA carrier bags and handed that to me. Scored a free bag along with a $10 discount lol
