      $1 Jetstar airfares?

      • +1

Hah, well I was thinking drive but hey. I'm on the other side of the river ATM so I hope they last until tomorrow.

      • +2

$1 airfare plus $45 in excess baggage fees per case of DrP you bring back.

        • +6

A few cases could be considered carry on luggage.

    DAMNIT!

  • Qld iga's ?

  • I'm guessing this may be in some other IGAs too. In Padbury they were trying to sell it off in cartons of 24 for $28 a few months ago.

  • damn! :D

very nice! I'm not a dr pepper fan, but usually where theres cheap dr pepper, theres cheap cherry coke ;)

Awesome. Now prepare for the inevitable flood of "ew, dr pepper tastes like medicine" comments.

    • Nah … Its just "so misunderstood" :)

      • "Whats the worst that can happen"?

EWW DR PEPPER TASTES LIKE MEDIcine

    • +2

Yurk, it's foul stuff, I'm thinking that the $9.99 is what they should be paying us to take it off their hands.. :-)

  • +1

    soo good

great price!! I think alot of shops are overcharging for this stuff, yes it costs a bit to import it but charging $25+ for a 24 slab is a joke.

$10 is great, wish all IGA had it for this price.

    • It's not the shops. They would only be making their average profit margin. The suppliers/importers are to blame.

    • Are you kidding me? wholesale price of those US cans are around 1~1.1 dollar per can in australia, some shops even pay more than that if they donot know the right place to buy them

Great deal, love Dr Pepper, unfortunately sooooo far…

    • Yeah pity……Costco are carrying DrP now but it isn't anywhere as good a deal.

  • Now one for those who actually drink this stuff. Is it the high fructos corn syrup or cane sugar?

    • +1

it's english stock, so this is made with sugar.

      • My local has the high fructos corn syrup only, bummer.

Also sells them for $2.50 each. Gotta find better prices like this!

  • +1

Wonder if its worth the trip on the off chance they have Cherry Coke as well.

    • +1

I just came back from there, there were a couple slabs of Cherry Coke, but they only had pricing for the individual cans. Seems the $9.99 special only applied to Dr P.

  • Awesome deal!
I just hope there's still some left tomorrow! :D

  • +1

Consider that stack two shorter. I had to physically remove the "manager's special" signs and shuffle them down. Amusingly, individual cans are being sold right next to them at $1.29 each.

    • I just did the same, shuffling the sign two lower (the right stack, as the left stack was shorter) 15 minutes ago!

      • *Symmetry high five*

I bet the young woman on cash register right next to the stack is wondering what the hell is going on. Despite being right next to them, when putting my purchase through she asked, "are we selling them like that?"

      • Nice work! I'm thinking I may not bother going tomorrow though. ~40min drive with no guarantee of stock when I get there.

Dr. Pepper party at your place! :P

  • +1

For anybody who is wondering, this is UK stock, as it has a UK web address listed on the back of the can. More importantly, it has sugar in it, rather than high fructose corn syrup! I know this because i just bought a couple of slabs.

There are now eleven stacks left out on the floor (as of 15 minutes ago), not sure if there are any more out the back.

Great deal - If you live near there. For everyone else, Reject Shop are currently selling single cans of Dr Pepper for $1.50 each and they are the Dublin DrP. Heaps more than this deal, but they have stores across the country.

    • Which Reject Shop is this?

I have never seen Dr. Pepper in a Melbourne Reject Shop. Is this a new product or?

      • They have had them now for about 2 months. I have seen them at multiple stores in Melbourne.

Damn, I paid $5 for 2 just yesterday lol

Good deal, I normally pay about $3.00 a can.

  • OK. I am there now, they have heaps of stock, but the price is now $19.99. For some reason I got charged 69c a can, or $16.56
