Sorry should of checked rather then rely on Siri lol

        • +17

          then or than? 😜

          …of or have? 😜

@franco cozzo: Steve: Sorry should of checked rather then rely on Siri lol

English: Sorry, I should have checked, rather than relying on Siri, "LOL".

I'm calling bullshit. Siri's voice recognition is not perfect, but it has better grammar than that!

@bargaino: I dunno.. My mate who drives Uber was telling me one day he had a pax to pickup from the airport her name was "Jean" he was sending her a message to tell her to make sure she is in the correct ride booking pickup area so he used voice to text.. "Hi Jean just checking.." which auctually translated to "Hygiene just checking.." he's old and he sent it.. the pax knew what he meant anyway lol..

              • @Gomo: Google assistant is much better. You can even set a siri shortcut on your iphone to launch it by voice. :-)

If I had seen them, there’d be zero packs left. Hoarding post Easter chocolate is ok.

    • Yep, Hoarded 12x50cent Aldi easter eggs.

This is store specific, our local one has them at $7.50, another was $5.

That's the day the slurpee machine broke down.

          • @jv: ok…see that was funny! you should try to keep that up ;)

    • …i dont know. can they?

      • should they?

  • My local store is all out :(

  • +2

$20 full price!!! No wonder they had stock left. Nice deal if you can get.

  • +3

I'm holding out until it is 50 cents.

I bought these for 10c from Coles last week at Victoria Gardens. All Easter chocolate was 10c.

      • +2

        No. WAY…

        • +1

Yep. At that price I doubt there’s any left. One woman was walking around with 4 of those Cadbury tubes with 20 eggs in each tube.

Step 1. Post here. Step 2. Buy enough for yourself. Step 3. Read about us getting in our cars to run at pace into the store as you are strolling out. Step 4. Smile you've made the world a better place today.

        • No, swap 1 and 2

          • @UberIsCool: It’s in store, if online op ain’t getting any

      • +1

This makes me sad that you didn't tell us

    • It will be White Chocolate 🍫 by then

  • Hi OP, just wondering if you can make a chocolate truffle out of the easter eggs?

    • These are already the truffle esque chocolates with the filling.

If you want to maje your own filling just melt chocolate and cream together and you can then shake and coat. Google it. 💐🤗

  • +1

    $2.50 at Coles Southland.

  • Toilet paper is way more popular

    • yes it doesnt melt in your hands…but it really gets stuck in your teeth

      • +2

You should take it with whiskey. It just slides.

Then you're not doing it right.

  • Bugger I thought it was my local Coles in Epping, VIC

Howdy neighbour - let me know if there's some good stuff left 👀

Sold out at Epping NSW now

Heaps at Top Ryde a couple hours ago.

    • About 40 left of the lindt (they're so good, perhaps even better than the balls), and maybe 200 bunnies for 19-38c ea.

      • As above. Bought some 20mins ago still dozens.

  • Damn just bought 1 last night at Burnside SA for $4

  • All the good stuff is gone from Coles Ashfield, Syd.

Just a bunch of those cardboard carrots with Lindt balls or something for $5. Works out to $1.30 or so per 100g. Not worth going for anything more than $1 per 100g IMO.

  • Scanned at epping and it was 7.5$

  • +1

Chatswood NSW Westfield coles have it for 1$ a bag, probably 4 boxes left

edit: plenty of toilet paper too

    • Where? Could not find anywhere. There were some mardowns at the entry but not this good. I got a 340gm tube of hollow Cadbury eggs for $1.50

      • They were on the left hand side of the first cashier booth. Probably sold out when you got there.

  • +1

75 cents in Coles Rhodes. Bought a few.

    • Legend, thanks! Stocked up as well. Still about 30-40 bags left.

  • I got there, was advertised as 2.50, sold for $2 at the checkout, @ macquarie centre Coles

  • Got the mixed bags of Cadbury eggs, $1.75/230g.

Still less than $1/100g so happy, and currently on no sugar til the "end" of covid, so will last ages thanks OP!!!!

There were Heaps of these at leichhardt.

Be wary, the bigger 500ish gram packs of the same thing are actually more expensive per gram!!!

  • All the chocolate including Cadbury blocks at my local were cleared out well before Easter. Only thing left behind is Lamington hot cross buns 80% off. Pass the bucket.

  • Can confirm Macquarie Centre had plenty on stock as of 9:30. $2/390g Lindt egg

  • Is this nation wide?

    • North Sydney still $7.50

  • I went to my local coles and woolies straight after easter, and there was no sign of any easter stock. :(
