    For anyone that has a VR set, there's a mod for Doom 3 BFG that makes it completely VR compatible (touch controllers and all) and is honestly one the best VR games around

    Oh wow. I always wanted to play doom3 I just never had a good enough card.

    Likely my 1060 6gb with a 20% oc should do it.

    it was actually a revelation for me this year that a lot of cool old school titles are playable even on integrated Intel GPUs

    e.g. today I tried Half Life: Source and Half Life 2 on an i3-7130u laptop, that's Intel HD 620 graphics, and it is playable on battery power without any major glitches, on high settings 1080p

    maybe I can finally finish playing HL2 haha and no gaming rig required
