Not as good as last week's bundle…

  • +2

    save it for CD

While normally that is the case, these are deals because they do not require you to leave the house.

    • +6

I guess because they also have a cash value in game, and its like a 99% discount.

The title is a good indication for you not to click into it.

  • any new updates?
I used to play when it first came out but got bored after awhile.

The game has a lot more features for battling now. It's worth a log in and play around. You'll know if it's for you after about a hour of exploring. Enjoy!

    • +1

Few more gens of pokemon, fun (but still basic) battle system, much fewer crashes and bugs (they still exist, but have become a '2 reboots per session' not '2 minutes, per reboot' like it used to be, haha.

Very good incentive to go for long walks during lockdown IMO.

use the sock method to walk buddy and hatch eggs

        • I usually wear socks when I walk, managing about 6kms a night! Its good exercise

        • +2

to whomever downvoted me; get your mind out of the gutter and try the sock method

turn on adventure sync. chuck your phone in a sock and swing it back and forth. get your buddy walk distance and eggs hatched and then remove that neg

          • @Neilzy: That sounds like cheating? I don't want to be 'better' than my friend who walked 100kms last week, when I didnt walk anywhere.
It's basically an exercise game, it sounds like it defeats the purpose, no?

I've never done this, and I'm on my 3rd completed pokedex.

It'd be hard to beat your previous nights walk, if you skew your own data. The incentive to exercise would be hard to achieve.

Same, played in 2016 at the start but stopped cause it had literally zero functionality or aim. When they disabled Pokemap that was the final straw for me.

I just started up again last year and it's waaay better, and the Pokemon have battle moves and all that. You can properly battle other trainers from around the world too.
