Damn. $600 graphics card marketed at $699 with a $100 discount. Really feeling the corona pinch.

Calm down mate no one's saying you're trying to scam anyone. I'm just noting the fact that Corona is turning the prices of PC parts through the roof.

Sure does make me sad! Been researching (over researching) my first ever build since late January. Thought I had settled on one…It's gone up $500 in 3 weeks!

This smartass comment alone would turn me away from a deal

      • +9

and if they do have stock at $600…why bother to price match here?

      • +6

That comment really turns people away from wanting to purchase this…

      • Funny that considering you guys don’t even charge GST as you’re not GST registered, so you already have a 10% head start to begin with.

    • and the Aussie dollar going to crap.

      • +1

Yep mostly that. I don't think other countries are suffering as hard as our dollar.

          lol…check Brazil out…

$656 from ShoppingExpress. Gigabyte model might have a slightly better cooler, but performance will be identical.

    • considerably better - the mech is awful

    • +2

      That's the non-XT

So it is lol my bad. I retract my statement.

I was just trying to have fun not shopping new pc parts until ddr5, I'm skipping ddr4.

  • These may be cheap as chips in months time on the used market.

    • How come?

        Superseded by new models.

Rumors are new AMD cards will be released at the end of the year.

        • I appreciate the responses, but do you think the price drops will be as significant as @whooah1979 implies? Is a used 1080ti still the best value amongst high end GPUs?

          • @scottySK: It depends on what the cards are like, with AMD working with MS and Sony they could theoretically put a card that's equivalent to the 2080 which would drop the price of 5700xt quite a bit but if it's just a slightly better card it won't. And yeah it looks like 1080ti does seem the best value for money for now.

  • No new game worth upgrading video card at the moment. Will wait until a proper title comes out

    • And who doesn't have any card? xD

        Your mobo has inbuild GPU

        • +2

No motherboards have inbuilt GPU lol ??

          • -3

@scottySK: Man you must be missing out

            • +1

@djmm: Mobo's don't, they may have attachments for display but they will only work with processor that has an APU, most of the Ryzen series doesn't.

  • Would this be a good upgrade from the rx480?

    • Yes.

  • This seems to be back in stock and even cheaper now ($684)
