Not as good as the previous deal of $39.99, but better than normal.

VPN required.

1.) Download & install the following VPN trial software on your phone / pc / mac > zenvpn or hotspotshield
2.) Select your location as Brazil (using Brazil ip) and click connect
3.) Visit the Xbox.com website in incognito mode on your browser and login using your Xbox Live details
4.) Redeem the code!

And these steps for best swapping XBL to Game Pass Ultimate (for new users to Ultimate):

1) Buy 12m Brazil Live Gold code via Cdkeys. $46.09
2) Using TunnelBear VPN set to Brazil log into Xbox app/Microsoft Store/Redeem code. Code should then redeem for 12m Live Gold.
3) If 2 successfully applied repeat steps 1) & 2) ONCE (max 2 Brazil codes). Note: Once 1, 2 & 3 complete you can switch VPN off.
4) Purchase 1m Ultimate (inc 2m free) for $1 via XBOX app/website/console.
5) Once 4 complete check via XBOX App/settings that you are now up to 27m ultimate.
6) Once 5 confirmed, buy 1 x 3m game pass from Cdkeys $15.99.
7) Apply code to your XBOX account via app. Extends ultimate by 2m.
8. if 7 successful repeat steps 6 & 7.
9) If 8 successful repeat steps 6 & 7.
10) if 9 successful, repeat steps 6 & 7 once more.

        Might do this for a second account.

        Seems like by Xbox offering 3 months game pass with next Gen will stuff up alot of people not knowing about the $1 to ugp

      You don't have to do ALL the steps, I just did 1-4 & got 27months for $85. I'm happy with that.

      Just don't forget to turn off recurring billing after each code activation to get an addition bonus month with the next one.

      Took me 5minutes to do everything. Just have your VPN installed and change the sever to Brazil. Log into Xbox.com and redeem the code. Turn on your Xbox and buy 1 month of Game Pass Ultimate.

    Ok.. I'm going to admit something here. I'm currently paying $15 a month for… I guess it's ultimate game pass? I get xbox live + game pass + the PC game pass.

    I'm so confused by all the layers and names ultimate, gold, live… jesus.

    I think I just need
    Gold
    Xbox Live
    PC Game pass.

    (assuming ultimate just gives me extra shit like EA access that I don't need?)

    What should I be paying per month (reasonably) for this?

      Game Pass Ultimate gives you Xbox Live Gold, Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass. So all three in 1. EA Access is a different subscription.

          If you're already on Ultimate then I'd suggest turning off recurring billing otherwise the $1 for 1 month (sometimes $1 for 3 months) won't be able to be accessed by you.

          Alternatively, contact Xbox to cancel it or turn off recurring billing and wait until your subscription ends, sign up a 1/2/3 years of Xbox Live Gold from a deal like this very one, then buy a $1 for x amount of Game Pass Ultimate. This will then convert your entire Xbox Live Subscription Length into Game Pass Ultimate.

      doh - have 2y2m currently and won't let me just waste 2 months before using 12 months just purchased. (have to wait two months, need GPU upgrade for $1 first time) TunnelBear was heaps better to use than ZenVpn.

      I have un-installed ZenVPN - how do I know that browser settings are reset properly and it's totally gone? Didn't work for Brazil on Edge browser properly for MS login.

    Here is how I redeemed it on Android phone:
    1. Download Tunnel Bear App
    2. Create an Account and Verify
    3. Set location to Brazil
    4. Go to Microsoft.com/Redeem on phone browser
    5. Login and Enter the key(buy from the link)
    6. Confirm (turn off auto top up payments)
    7. Complete

    Can confirm that it's better you to top up either XBL or XGP or XGPC as many as you can (max 35mths) before you convert to XGU.

    I did this from the last deal.

    I topped up 2y xgl, with reoccuring payment set to off/on twice, so get 2mths extra.

    Then activated xgPC for a month $6, +1mth extra for reoccuring payment.

    Then bought off ebay 3mths xgPC for $15.

    So 24+2+1+1+3 = 31mths, i still have 5mths leftover, so got full 36mths of xgu

    For those that have previously converted to Gamepass Ultimate, is the best method to get additional months (for cheap) to wait till it expires, top up with Live and then convert again?

    I had the impression that once you convert your subscription, you opt out of having a standard Live subscription and all future top ups would automatically convert to Ultimate. I assume this won't apply of you let it expire?

I just bought this and redeemed it, and I am new to xbox ( only got it this month) I bought it thinking its the same thing as game pass :( now my game pass still tells me I only have 12 days left. can someone please explain what is the difference between game pass and live gold? and what do i do now? I still haven't used the one $1 game pass ultimate on my account, if that helps. Thank You.

      "Xbox Live Gold gives you access to online multiplayer, discounts and monthly free games.

      Game pass allows you to play over 100 games as part of the monthly subscription and also offers some discounts for games and DLC. Generally you'd still want Gold if you were to play any of those games in multiplayer.

      Once the subscription ends you lose the benefits and access to the games."

    What about if the $1 GPU trial has been used and expired? Can one still use this and convert it back to GPU? Or do I just switch back to xbox live?

      In my case, the GPU had expired. I got the 2 Xbox Live gold 12 month subscriptions; when I went to get the GPU, it did show $1 to join, but on clicking it, it changed the price to 15.95. So I guess it gives the offer only once. That said, I got the 15.95 and have GPU for 27m now.

      You could buy three, but you would have to wait before redeeming it.

      Every time you redeem a 12 month code, you can get a month free, then you get a third month when you switch over to game pass, total 27 months. You can only have a maximum of 36 months & you would be over that if you tried to redeem a third 12 month code.
