The blue looks awesome, but didn't have any stock for the S20 4G, so I went grey. Thinking of getting a blue smart cover for it instead.
The colours are depressing. Grey is awful, no idea why they went with that over black, blue isn't to bad but to light for me (and seems to have that oily look, not a big fan personally) and pink is… Pink, not a big fan personally.
In SK there's a red version of the s20+ that would've been great. S20+ also gets black. Suppose samsung are hoping it convinces people to buy up, but after using my a70 I've found 6.7" is just to big.

Make sure you use your epp store website only and not the normal Samsung one to ask for discount voucher.

I am guessing this is based on the Telstra and Optus employees that get a 50% discount code once they finish a training on the product. From memory lots of people were selling their 50% discounted phone on Gumtree taking advantage of the staff discount.

I can't use my $50 off coupon sent to me by Samsung. It says invalid coupon when I use it in EPP, it works fine for normal samsung website. What am i doing wrong here?
You need to sign up for the newsletter in the EPP portal. There are a number of comments in here saying the main website signup doesn't work in the EPP store as you've found.
I've got both the 20+ and Ultra. Get the 20+. The Ultra is now back in the box. Issues with hardware aside it's just way too heavy. Dimensions are fine but I found it uncomfortable to just did to it's weight with most of the weight at the top end. Even on long phone calls holding it up was a punish.
The slightly bigger battery and screen are not worth the trade off. The camera is no better, 100x zoom is next to useless.
Did you find the Ultra heat up at all ?
No I never really noticed that. I had a case on from day 1 so I'm not sure if that made a difference?
6.9" and the weight from all that tech (specifically that camera) would be pretty unwieldy.
Personally though I'd recommend the s20. The s20+ is nice, but 6.7" is still to big IMO.

Yeah, they offer 14 day return. Just don’t open the box of the device.

Agree with all the battery and overheat problems, infact it was so bad in my first week I contacted Samsung for a replacement but they wouldn't ship one out instead want to send it to their factory for repairs for 7-21 days.
A few settings to help with battery,
1. Downgrade Google, the new patch drains like 15% per hour in the background.
2. Switch off adaptive screen brightness
3. Switch off Bluetooth when not needed
I've tried many other settings but these 3 seems to make the most difference, I'm still using 120hz refresh.

Yep.. I sent my S20+ back and they deemed it faulty. New unit had the same issue and that went back which led to a refund.
On a flagship you shouldn’t have to make compromises.. I say that but I still want the S20 Ultra in the false hope it won’t heat up.
But ultra is suffering from auto focus issue and it seems like a hardware problem
If you really wanted to ensure no overheating, in the battery optimised settings you can throttle the cpu to 70%. That should help a lot.
Wish there was something a little less extreme though. 10% normally helps stuff like this a lot heating wise.

I'm currently using a Huawei P20 Pro and I'm looking at buying the S20+ 5G model and I'm still deciding between the 128gb or 512gb size.
I could get the 128gb and use a micro sd card. However, I did have a Samsung Note 4 (also the last Samsung phone I owned) in the past and I used it with a micro sd card. Every now and then I did have problems with the card, mostly not being able to format it with the data stuck on the card and I can't reuse the card for something else. I think I even had the same when I had the Galaxy S2. Is this still a problem or was I just unlucky with the micro sd cards that I used?

@aleayr: Yeah phones these days are getting pretty big. That was my one worry since I have small hands but the deal makes it worth it :) Did you get the blue color? When I checked the blue S20 was always out of stock which sucked.
@mujitee: I wanted the blue - best colour I've seen on a phone in years - but it was out of stock on the S20's even before I posted this deal. I settled for the grey. Figured I could put whatever coloured case on it that I wanted. I don't have large hands either, so I've always gravitated to smaller phones.

All Australian stock of Samsung phones are Exynos processors as far as I am aware.
All s/note series should be. I believe the a series varies a fair bit (a71 uses a SD chip, a51 uses an exynos chip) and the z flip/fold both use SD chips I think.
Hesitating to buy, I've noticed the phones have been restocked the third time.
Interestingly, S20 are sold first, soon after S20 5G, then S20 Ultra, S20+ is always available.
