  • Do you need to activate it?

    • +1

Yup, there should be a little banner on the app

      • Cheers. I see the post was updated & answered

        Thanks @Dealbot too.

  • Can it be used multiple times?

    • +3

      • Limited to one bonus per customer.

  • big brands like Amazon, Netflix, iTunes, JB Hi-Fi, Uber (can be used for Uber Eats), EB Games and so on.

    is Ebay gift card included?

If this works for all cards, I see some other cards such as Food/Dining cards are already on 10% discount, so you get more value with this cashback.

    • +5

eBay gift card is SOLD OUT

    • The 10% off sale will make you only spend $45 and disqualify the bonus cashback.

  • +2

    Thanks, went for Amazon $50!

  • +5

Just realized it's for physical gift cards and needs to be delivered by Aus post

    • +6

Delivered by auspost means you should get the giftcard just in time for christmas

      • heard a lot of people on here previously receiving them unactivated too.

        • +1

Any gift cards totalling over $200 or $300 comes unactivated. Think it was stated somewhere. It's for theft purposes.

          • @8azinga: Seems it's 1000 now for Amazon-
"Please note: For your protection, gift card orders $1000 and over in total are required to be activated once you have received your order. Call 1800 331 794 between 8.30am-5pm AEST, Monday-Friday to activate your gift cards."

            • +3

@bajirao: lol thanks, but it seems insane to wait for physical cards, only to have to ring via phone to activate, after purchasing online.

      • Hopefully this Chirstmas!

  • +3

Is this a physical gift card?
Part of me doesn't want to go to the impact of getting a gift card sent just to save $5 to spend on a company that uses packaging so wastefully (Amazon).
The other part of me just wants a bargain.

    • Yes to all your questions
And you know you need to save to spend more !
      Rule 1 of Ozbargain

  • Took a while but got the Amazon gift card

Had to keep selecting the card only 50 dollar aviable

  • Cheers OP. Add it to yesterday's Amazon GC's.

  • +1

Heard it usually takes several weeks to actually receive the gift card. Is it worse now with Covid?

    • Yup! Depending on your location, it now takes up to 2 to 3 weeks for Ausport normal delivery. So need to factor this before purchasing the GC.

    • It was 2-3 weeks delivery before coronavirus problems. Might add a few days at most think.

I've been getting deliveries within 3-5 days of items being posted so hasnt seem to have made a difference.

  • Thanks. Bought another gift card.

  • Thanks OP. Picked up an Amazon Gift Card

  • Thanks OP! Got a Uber gift cad :)

  • +1

Awesome, please stop the cashbacks, I just keep spending!

  • Great deal. Thanks OP.

  • Amazon gift card here I come thanks OP

  • -2

Are these physical gift cards? I don't trust Australia Post to deliver them 🙄

    • +1

      Read above? Lol.

  • +1

Only tracked for $2. Anyone else have the same issue?

    • +1

My understanding of the deal is if you buy a $50 gift card at 4% cashback then it’ll track $2 and then a $3 bonus tracking should appear in a few days

      • Thank you

      • +1

The $3 bonus wont appear until 30th June.

        • +2

why does it always take so long to et it? to make us lose track? I cant remember how many $2 i got/didnt get in the past for these kind of deals….

          • @moonwalk: They can't pay it out incase people refund products. Usually there is a 1 month limit for this but they make you wait longer so I suspect they hope some people will forget about it as well.

  • +4

Warning: shopback sometimes don't pay and will not give you the benefit of the doubt.
They clearly had system issues but still won't pay

  • One question here. I bought a 500$ amazon gift card yesterday in ShopBack without this claim. Does this mean that I can't claim this offer?

    • +1

You can claim the $3 bonus if open up the Shopback app and activate the offer before purchasing another $50 card, even if you have bought gift cards yesterday.

  • +1

Pity AusPost don't have egift cards.

  • Am I still able to get full 4% cash back for more than 1 gift card in one transaction? I understand $3 is only paid once.

    • exactly what I was going to ask - I want to by 10 x $50 so wondering if I need to do it in two transactions

  • I ordered a gift card yesterday from AusPost but want to change the delivery address. Do they allow changing the delivery address if the order hasn't been shipped yet? If I can't change the delivery address, can the order be cancelled if it hasn't been shipped yet? Any advice from someone who has done one of these options before would be greatly appreciated.

  • +2

Shopback has most shocking payment system. My latest Amazon purchase was automatically tracked and then they rejected nearly $25 cashback stating Amazon rejected which definitely is BS. No gift card or promo code was used. The full payment was made via credit card.

Sorry OP, I am negging this company not you.

The amount of effort you guys will go to to save $3 is just sad.

    • +2

The amount of effort you make to comment on deals where people are saving $3 is just sad.

    • +1

      Effort?

  • -1

Don't even bother with Shopback - absolutely horrendous.

  • +1

My husband already received his gift card early today, that was much quicker than expected after reading the comments! My order should arrive tomorrow according to tracking.

  • Got it today in NSW. I think people in VIC should have received 1-2 days earlier.

  • Received one of mine yesterday, still waiting on one more…

  • I received one of mine also yesterday in Vic.

  • Received all mine today.

  • Received, but most of my cards aren't even activating, what a pain.

  • +1

I received 2 x $50 Amazon cards today. One is redeemable but another one is invalid.

  • Received in remote area, redeemed and was fine.

  • Ordered 2 separately on the same day. Order processed one day apart. One has been delivered mid last week, one is still stuck in Eastern State. What is going on Australia Post ?

    • Yes same, 10 km from Melbourne CBD.

      • Still nothing even though I have raised an inquiry mid last week. No response. I will lodge a dispute via Paypal.

        • I received the second one last week.

  • +1

Received 8 cards, only 2 will activate. What a shambles.

    • Just received my cards, how do you check if they are activated?

      • +1

Go to amazon.com.au/redeem and put in the claim code.

        • +1

Thanks, mate. Is there a way to check if the card is activated without redeemimg it as I plan to give the GC as gift to mates?

  • +1

So pissed at shopback… Ordered through the app for bonus cashback and didn't track. They rejected my claim despite proof.
