Only one Officework? At Browns Plain?

I bought it in Browns Plains, there still 2 left at that time.

  • Are these any good?

As always, depends on usage, but generally nope - https://www.rtings.com/headphones/reviews/sony/mdr-zx110nc

I've seen some reviews say it's not bad at blocking out jet engine noise, which might make it an ok option for flights, but generally I'd go with a pair of cheap earbuds and block out the noise to begin with. In an office environment or with people talking they're crap.

Spend a little bit more and get the taotronics stuff that pops up on sale here every now and again. https://www.rtings.com/headphones/reviews/taotronics/tt-bh06… - way, way better noise cancelling, somewhat better audio, also bluetooth.

      • And how comfortable is it on your ear?

        • Not comfortable at all. There are far better options around this price.

      • Thanks for the info. Also saw a YouTube review on this and decided against it. Hate over the ear headphones. Good price though!

    • depends on price. I would say good at $39, poor at $70

  • So does 1 battery only last for 80 hours? So can this work when there is no battery?

    • it will work without noise cacelling function when no battery, and there is a on/off on the headphone too, so you can turn off to save battery

  • Just wondering why wired headphone needs battery?

active noise cancelling. Basically it analyses the sound on the outside and includes offsetting noise to zero it out. Needs power in order to do that.

works well in an office environment - got tapped on my shoulder often by colleagues when I put them on.
sound quality is not bad - and given this price point I think it's great!

  • Would these work fine with watching stuff on a tablet? Netflix, etc

  • +1

    Unbeatable for the price.

That's not the noise cancelling version

  • Got second last set from Doncaster OW 😁

  • FWIW I had some of these a while back. For the price they were good - I think I got them for a little less than this. They even came with a little cloth bag and one of those old school airplane adapters, although they might not come with either of those now. They are small so sit on the ears (keeping in mind I have a big head!), and the noise cancelling was not like a Bose - ie they made a difference, but not amazing. Still, definitely better than nothing and way better than the standard headphones on a plane. My son broke them, but my entire family are not great at looking after things so I don't blame the headphones as such.

update - no mention of bag, but it should come with an airplane adapter. https://www.sony.com.au/electronics/headband-headphones/mdr-…

When people say their product broke I wonder why, I have seen people chuck them, shove it in their bag, and I’m like no wonder they break, anything breaks if you treat them like that

      • Yep. My son has done all of the above, plus stood on them and run office chairs over them. Again, does not surprise me when he breaks things and yes I tell him to take more care… sigh…

  • Can we use these without the battery?

  • good price. Best I saw from Sony kiosk is $45.

  • +1

    Showing $57.54 now.

    • Updated URL to directly from Amazon AU. Still available on Back Order.

  • Are these okay to workout with? My XM3's are not the best.
If not, what alternatives are there to workout with?
