  • Seems like a good deal… elsewhere has them for $50 without shipping…

    http://www.techbuy.com.au/product.asp?at=51&prodid=75072

not sure on the quality tho. but i bought one to give it a shot at that price.

    • Meh, I have an earlier model of the same line I bought about 5 years ago at one of them EB 2-for-$50 sales. Best non-studio headphones I've ever owned. Super-comfortable, super-durable, plenty of bass without sacrificing mids or high end, longest cable I've ever seen on a set of headphones… I've had plenty of other sets of headphones and with the exception of Beyer Dynamics I use for recording/mastering, these are easily my favourites.

  • Apparently these don't crush your head like some others that are just a bit to tight. I wonder how good the sound cancelling is though…

Lol, wow… "Cable Length: 6 meters"

Noise cancelling is zero, these are really crap headphones, a pair of HD201 are a far better option for the price. I've had both..

      • Thanks for your exp. They look big enough but how tight are the HD201's? I have plugs so some of them hurt if they are too tight. I'll only be using these for gaming but I still need to block out some sound around me from the other guys.

Possibly not a good option then as they are reasonably tight on me but I don't find them uncomfortable.

        • Thanks for letting me know they will probably be a bit to tight for me due to my plugs.
I dunno why you got neg'd for that, that's all you were saying there.

You should only neg the "deal" if you find cheaper elsewhere or better product with similar price. Negging a deal based on personal preference is wrong.

Bought. Reviews are decent, biggest complaint is that it doesn't have longevity… well for $20, I'll be happy to get 6 months out of it, anything more is a bonus. This seems ideal for watching TV in bed…

As per previous comment - have had mine for around 5 years. I'm pretty rough with them. They've been traveling with, I used to frequently sleep with them on, the ONLY real wear is the fabric around the inside of the earpieces looks a bit pilled. The ear pads, plastic frame etc are still sturdy. Never had a cable problem either surpisingly given how much I mistreat cables and how long the cable is. No crackles etc.

      • Maybe its the change to black plastic for the headband piece? The old ones has a cream/brown colour headband and is more flexible then normal plastic.

Awesome headphones for the price. Long cord and volume control is what makes these phones. I bought these 6 years ago and use them at least 3 times a week.

    Thinking about buying another set…

  • I have these at the plastic holds them together snapped in 2. I used them for about 1 year before this happened without any problems.

  • Bought two, thx op~
I think these will sell out soon, just like:

  • bought one too. $20 is cheap. gonna use them for TV while gaming and see how it goes.

  • cord too long for what i need them for, otherwise wuld of been a great deal..

  • woohoo have been looking for a decent full size headphones at $20 mark, thanks

  • I had one 5 years ago but it broke apart :(
I paid about $30-40 long time ago. Good quality.
