haha so good. the number of times our "CEO" has asked us to buy some..obviously we do it every-time because we are great employees…i haven't seen any cards in the mail and my first order has been over a year now…

  • Thank you. Now i can pay my debts

  • got these during the day. remember it's only the $30 gift cards and up that get the discount.

    • +4

That's why it says Excludes $20 in the title :/

  • Time to visit my local Officeworks.

    • Good luck! Without an online link, Officeworks won't honour any price match guarantee.
Pointing to this OzBargain thread won't help either. ;)
      I tried it last time.

However, if you do succeed, please post back here.

      • That goes against what they've quoted here:

        https://www.officeworks.com.au/information/policies/price-be…

        • In reality, O/W hates doing price matching especially if you have found a really great price online or else where (e.g. print catalogues, etc.)
If it is not an online link that they can click on and verify themselves, they will use that as an excuse to deny the claim.

      • Wow, Coles website is down since.

        • +7

          Down down?

      • Tried this morning, cashier was super thorough and spent 5 mins on phone trying to look at Coles website for the price. Finally asked me where I got this info, and I showed the OzB post. Said yeah nah we gotta have something direct from Coles.

  • 20% off back in 15/1/2020. I guess I will wait for the next 20% off.

You'll be waiting a while then. 20% has been rare these last 2 or so years.

  • Going blind but can’t see this in the catalogue

Need this for the officeworks PB

    • looked as well. Might have to buy the Herald and show in store.

      In case anyone else has trouble… here you go;

I ended up just calling Coles on speaker phone for the manager to hear and that sufficed.
Officeworks were polite about it all, but insisted on verifying online and wouldn’t accept a photo of the instore promotion flyer in coles.

      • so the coles promotion is national wide? why didn't they include this in their catalogue @@

      • Very lucky!!

      • I shown that to Officework today but no luck.

I already said so. I have tried many O/W stores in vain the past when I only had clippings or receipts from OzBargain members.
They don't honour their price match policy unless you can provide them with a link that they can independently verify themselves.

        • Just do what I did and call your local coles to confirm so officeworks can verify it. There is nothing in officeworks pricing policy to say it has to be an online sale that is verified via a link.

If you get stuck, just call their phone based sales team, I’ve had them verify when stores have refused, and they will mail you the gift cards via registered express post for free.

If you get really stuck at the store, just take the managers name and date and say that you’re referring the matter to their head office with a complaint. If you’ve provided a way for them to verify the price and they refuse to, I’d suggest the sign on the back of their staff uniform and on the front of the store is very misleading.

Just be polite to the staff and most times they will be reasonable.

    • Page 41.

Showed the catalog to Officeworks this morning and got 2 $100 cards for $80.75 each.

Can we use these Gift Card to get cheap Apple gears at reseller stores?

    • +1

      Definitely not.

    • These are iTunes or App Store gift cards for purchase of digital goods (apps, music, iCloud storage, etc.).

  • -4

I will wait for 20% discount. Needed some to pay my tax.

  • +1

Got one at Chadstone, VIC this afternoon.

    • Did you get it at Coles? I went to OfficeWork today but they won't price match it.

      • Yes this was Coles.

  • +2

    Purchased one in Townsville

    I still got $40 balance,
    trying to buy Procreate,

but it won't let me click the Apple balance, in Payment Method window.

Anybody know how to get it going please?

I can’t be bothered with the OW price beat but if anyone interested here is the clearer photo to show to the tuff cookies at OW https://files.ozbargain.com.au/upload/104182/79311/1a9d20e2-…
