    • 4 Layer Barrier Protection with Fluid Resistant and Bacterial Protection Features

What about Virus Protection Features ?

    • +1

      That would be the fluid.

Its well established that the risk you present of passing on your illness is from aerosol.

The mask needs to stop droplets, not virii specifically.

      • thanks…

  • This item has no demonstrated standard for preventing transmission ("high bfe" is meaningless)

Easy breathing… Yeah, easy transmission too.

    Is this a bargain?

    • No

    10X markup, price gouging

    • -6

Can you sell these for $5.5 50pcs/Box? I can take $11 if you want 2X guaging.

  • +4

It costs like less than 4 cents to make these type of masks and now they try to sell it more than a dollar? Humans are trash indeed

    • -2

Can you sell these for 40cents each?

    • +4

Isnt that the same with almost everything on the market.
iPhone 11 Pro Max costs approximately US$490.50, but retails for more than double that price.
Same with many pharmaceuticals, manufacturing cost price is so small, but then they charge massive amounts to the customer. Which is why in australia we have the PBS scheme from the government.

If you are feeling so self righteous then you should start a company which manufactures it and sell it at cost price, then look at how fast you will go bankrupt.

Agreed. Costs for all things are largely dictated by costs of materials used to manefacture the item and avaliability of item on the market. Masks etc. Costs for the filters have gone up. Pharmacies need a margin on the product even if they do buy it from vietnam. Costs for imported masks plus clearance etc quickly adds up and at low quantities by individual pharmacies you be looking at a very high cost price in the current market. Even courier fees have shot through the roof with an additional peak charge.

If you don't want to buy it don't. I wouldn't be slamming people for trying make a living and support their staff.

There is no proper standards to these masks so i wouldn't be recommending it to people. TGA approved masks even from proper distributors are charging dental clinics 50 cents to 1 dollar per masks. Regulators can't fault them here because of high costs to the business.

      • Technically, you never would. Because if you manufacture and sell for cost price, and you calculate your cost correctly (staff. Rent) then you should break even every time.

Buuuut im just a pedantic jerk :p I get your point.

I am not planning to perform any surgery soon; I'll let this one pass.

    • +5

But if you have the masks on hand, it gives you that option.

I would rather buy from chemist warehouse with similar price:

Some countries, you're not even allowed outside your home without a mask. Hilarious.
