I was looking for a good price on the new Nikon aw-100 water/shock proof camera and came across this deal.

The nikon retails for $449. Cheapest price i had found was $399 delivered from nofrills

    Is this the cheapest place to get a camera? I've looked on static ice and they prices seem on par with the cheapest on staticice atm…Unless anyone knows any other sales on atm

      Depends on what you want.

      It is the cheapest place to get the camera i need. Specifically that nikon as it does decent HD video and is shock and waterproof (for a preschool).

    i went to the one at Fortitude Valley and they are selling Canon 7D body for just under $2K, so definitely a rip off even with the 20% discount.

      It's a very good price if it's 20% off that. However, I rang my local store and they said their normal price is $1599, so it's 20% off that ($1279.20). Might try my luck with a printout from their website.

          I tried getting them to price match their own website and they wouldn't. He told me that's online price and I even told him you can't even buy it online from their site. The camera guy at auburn Harvey Norman just doesn't like giving any sort of deals or discounts. He's useless.

          Also they tell you they don't have Internet access if you find a place to price match. However when I made a complaint that day they all of a sudden had access to the net. Dodgey sales staff

          Just came back from JB Hi-Fi. They matched the 20% off the HN web price, so I got the Canon 600D with Twin Lens for $1090, which apparently is below their cost price. Not sure how that works. I was so close to buying the Kogan one (body only) but feel so much better that this is local stock & I'll have no problem with warranty.

          Not matching their online price is a load of BS (on that sales persons part)

          Complain to head office and the store will get a "black mark" of sorts. Head office actually keeps track of the number of complaints per store and the franchisees take it very seriously.
